I was disappointed with this bathing brush. I bought it in hopes that it would make bathing less painful and easier for my dog with hip dysplasia. The larger piece is a hard plastic and it's too painful for his hips his hips. The smaller bristled one doesn't reach deep enough through his long fur, and it causes tangling. It's probably useful for other dogs, but I don't recommend it if your dog has hip dysplasia or any painful joints.

Also stimulates her coat and she seems to enjoy it when I use these on her. Plus the price was very good for 2 brushes. My only complaint is that they are a little stiff. I wish b they were a bit more flexable.

Sweetie loved the brushes. She is my long haired chuahauh. Her coat is similar to a short haired dog. Cutie, didn't work. Cutie's fur is long, ultra-fine and thin. What Cutie needs is a long tooth, rubber comb, brush. I had to use my metal comb brush on Cutie (yes, it pulls her hair and she hates it), because it is the only way to groom her super fine fur. May I ask all providers out there that manufacture dog grooming products, please make a fine mesh, rubber comb brush for all fine haired doogies.

When I received them I had hopes they would work great for both of my pups, one a British Lab and the other a lab/rottweiler cross. While the brushes seem to massage

When I received them I had hopes they would work great for both of my pups, one a British Lab and the other a lab/rottweiler cross. While the brushes seem to massage them while they're being brushed, they don't really get very much hair off them, and they are both shedding all the time. My hands are more effective. Not really happy with the purchase.
