On one shoulder piece the leather was dark oil, but the other was light oil along with the rest of the breast collar. I would not recommend this purchase, if it came all the same light oil like I expected I would've been happy. It also came covered in a white powder stuck to the leather so I had to use leather soap and conditioner. Not thrilled.
