I love these pads. I will definitely have to order more. My 4 month old American Bully Capone took to them right away with no problem. He knew those were HIS! I love that I can wash them and put them back on floor after a short air dry time. One thing I would recommend is to place an unwanted towel underneath because they do leak through but I don’t mind be cause it beats buying extra disposable pee mats. And if you dry your towel then place you mate cloth side down on top of your dryer and the heat from that will dry your mat after without affecting the plastic. Just an fyi.
We bought two of these along with disposables to offset the ecological impact of all the disposables and they work great. Actually they work so great, during a puppy playdate, everyone used this pad over the disposable. No misses either whereas the disposable, you know how the pee sometimes ends up underneath it? Didn't happen with these and there were 3 puppies in the playpen! Downside is length of drying time since they should be hung to dry. Best get two to swap them while one is drying. They hold enough pee for our small (2lb yorkie/papillon mix) to pee for a few days. She's been trained enough that we haven't had to deal with poop on them, so I can't comment on their effectiveness in that regard.
You can leave down for days at a time before replacing. Simply rinse and leave to dry, depositing the poop in toilet. No more running out of pads and the money saved. Not to forget Earth Friendly. Thank You
These do not hold up. I washed in gentle cycle and air dried but still the pad is not like it was.
These pads are nice to use under the doggy artificial grass patches.
Perfect size, nice texture, good for the environment, great investment, might even come in handy for other things.my dog has been leaking pee while he sleeps started this week from a UTI and he hates being messy, wet, or smelly. He is 9 years old and he literally feels bad when he has accidents. He now can sleep and know that I will clean up his mess and that he is not in trouble for not being able to hold it. I will keep these for the future, in case as he is older, this may become a more frequent issue. He can wear a band in the day, and sleep on the mats overnight without the band at first til he gets used to it. I put the mats on top of his 3 favorite places too, his cage, and on his 2 beds. It's gray and looks like a small blanket. Has a waterproof lining on the bottom.
I use these for my guinea pig cage along with fleece blankets on top and i only have to wash them about every two ish weeks :) they’re also a lot bigger than i thought, their cage 4 feet long and 2-3 ish feet wide and two fits good but i use all three for the extra absorption. They’re so easy to clean definitely recommend
I was a bit concerned about how well these would work and particularly wash. My 20+ year old uses them willingly no issues. I washed them as I would diapers and used Hex detergent as I was concerned about smell. Dripped dry and back in use. Not entirely sure how long these will last with cat scratching but pleased this far.
Not absorbent, pee flows underneath. Thought a washable pad would be economic. Sigh. Fine for solid waste.
I'm sorry, but the Four Paws Wee-Wee Dog Pads were too small. Josh was accustomed to wee-weeing on larger pads?? I don' t know what I'm going to do with them??? You were correct pads do not leak but all-all not functional!
