My 70-lb dog thought these treats were absolutely drool-worthy. The second I opened the bag, he was locked in and very enthusiastic. Taste-wise, they’re clearly a hit but fair warning: these are small and eaten VERY fast. The feeding directions say my dog can have 3 sticks per day, which makes sense because they’re definitely not a long-lasting dental chew. They’re more like a soft biscuit than a chewy treat, so if you’re looking for something that keeps your dog busy, this isn’t it. That said, I do appreciate the ingredient choices. They include sodium hexametaphosphate, which is commonly used in dental products to help reduce tartar buildup over time, plus parsley for breath freshening. There’s also a gut health blend with pre- and probiotics, which is a nice bonus. Nothing in the ingredient list stood out as controversial to me. Because they’re soft and swallowed quickly, I don’t think they replace brushing or harder dental chews but they seem like a good support treat for dental and gut health when used consistently. Bonus points for being made in the USA and for how much my dog genuinely loves them.

It has helped his breath and I do notice a little less tartar. Hard to tell about digestion as he doesn’t have any problems but it helps continue his gut health.
They love them-maybe too much!
The dogs love these and gobble them as I take them from the bag. Unfortunately, the bag says to make sure they chew them. Not sure how you're supposed to do that

My girls almost take my finger off when I hand them one, they chew once and swallow them whole, so I don't know if they are doing their teeth any good. They love them so much my one girl sits and just stares at the bag trying to will me to give her another.
My dogs loved them
Well Joy dental gut boost was enjoyed by both of my dogs. They ate them up quickly. One of my dogs has a very sensitive stomach and she has tolerated them well

One of my dogs is a tripod and we have to watch his weight. The directions call for two sticks for his size. There are 34 calories per stick, so he only gets one! It has 3 grams of protein per stick and chicken is the top ingredient.
For senior dogs with underbites

They don’t like to chew things, but dental problems are a concern. I was so excited when they took them to their beds and started chewing them. A big plus was that their breath smelled really good afterwards. The size was appropriate for small dogs, I will definitely buy these again.

Her breath seems to lose its sour smell after she has a chew. It’s hard to tell with my boxer cuz she practically inhales her treats.
