What a great treat! Our foster kittens liked it, our adult cats liked it, and when my dog got too close to a porcupine (both of them are fine now), this was a great way to reward her for holding still while we pulled quills out of her chin. I know this is sort of an off-label use, but it worked! The consistency is good, and the pouch is a workable size and not too hard to open. If you like pouch treats instead of tube treats (less packaging!), this is a great option. Even the picky kitten liked it!

I received the Wellness Appetizing Entrees chicken and & Lamb Mousse wet cat food. The product is package very well and pantry friendly box. I was hopeful that my cat would enjoy this after offering her many different varieties of choices, my cat is super picky with what we feed her and she is also not a big fan of chicken. I feed my girl in the morning before I go to work. I love the ease of opening the pouches. I wasn’t sure what to expect upon opening it (she usually loves pâté only). I poured it into her dish and it was a silky smooth texture with no chunks and I thought for sure ‘she’s going to snub her nose at it, as per usual. My super picky cat LOVES it! I was and still am surprised that she loves it. One word… Eureka! My only constructive criticism would be that the pouches come with a zip enclosure because my cat has never been a big eater. She only eats about 1 to 1.5 oz per meal. Sure I can use the bag clips but it’s not cute. It would be nice to serve seal and go especially when I’m heading out the door in the mornings. Please enjoy my little beauty enjoy her new love, Wellness Appetizing Entrees.

I was excited for my boys to try this product because I love giving them new foods and treats. The ingredient list includes real chicken and lamb, mixed with egg and lots of vitamins and minerals, so I was looking forward to seeing how they react to the food. Unfortunately they were not very interested :( I am not sure why. However I would not hold this against the product itself, especially because of the high quality ingredients.

Some of our cats love this brand and texture. However this flavor didn't seem to be as popular. One cat even fooled me by actually eating it the first time I shared

Some of our cats love this brand and texture. However this flavor didn't seem to be as popular. One cat even fooled me by actually eating it the first time I shared it with the gang but then refused to touch it in subsequent meals. I was originally excited because it was rare to find this brand in this size of pouch! The ones near us are usually half the size and pricy. I'd say if your cat already enjoys the texture of mousse, give it a go. Maybe your non-mousse cats will be more accepting than mine. Good color, consistent texture, smells ok (probably better if you're a cat :)

I bought this for my kitty with severe stomatitis because he can only eat very soft foods. I bought several other brands of "mousse" type food at the same time

My fluffy tux Fabi is a big fan of this food. The texture is very smooth, definitely a mousse. He usually likes shreds, so it's a compliment that he enjoys the mousse so much. The aroma is strong and smells of organ meat. Very rich. My other tux isn't a fan of this chow, so his brother gets it all to himself. No gastrointestinal upset when we include this in the rotation. Kitties who like stinky or smooth food would be good candidates to give this a try. On the flip side, the intense smell might put some cats (or people) off.

The Wellness appetizing entree was a huge hit in our animal shelter! Every cat has it's likes and dislikes but we didn't find anyone that didn't absolutely love the chicken and lamb recipe. What we like is there are no added artificial flavors, preservatives, or colors and is carrageenan free that can cause issues with some of our cat's that take medication. Main ingredient is chicken another added plus all wonderful ingredients. We would recommend to all of our clients!

I have two adult male cats. One of them is much more adventurous than the other. I often have to buy two different treats to suit both pallets. Both cats like this food so much that I was able to feed directly from the pouch like a treat. They loved it. I absolutely love that there were no extra potent or loose stools after the feedings. I've noticed that wet food can sometimes create loose extra odorous excrement, and that is not the case.
