WILL THIS FOOD BE OK FOR A 15 YEAR OLD CAT WITH KIDNEY ISSUES

This is a question best answered by your cat's vet. Cat's with kidney issues have a multitude of factors that can affect which could be the best choices for their dietary needs including phosphorus content (kidney diets generally recommend <0.06% on a dry content basis) though there can be adjustments made when the ultimate goal is getting a cat to eat and/or gain weight.

My two cats were not at all happy with this pick. The product appeared to be very dry and seemed to be quite unappealing to them. I ended up donating almost all of the cans to my local shelter. I've had good luck with other Wellness pate varieties. This one just didn't hit the mark.

Hard bone like pieces

Is wellness having quality control issues? This is not inexpensive food. Why is there a grit in the soft food? Like tiny bits of bone or some other very hard substance

Is wellness having quality control issues? This is not inexpensive food. Why is there a grit in the soft food? Like tiny bits of bone or some other very hard substance that my cat does not like. He’s an old cat with health issues. We got this for him to help his digestion along with his meds. I haven’t seen any recalls on this food or the brand. Wondering if we can get a refund or any information about the quality of this product please.

The only wet food my cat will eat

My cat would never eat wet food before. This is the only one she will eat, yet my other 2 cats do not like it. No fighting! :-)

Quality ingredients for older cats

My cat loved it. As she aged she wanted less texture so pate was good (puree is better). I chose fish due to stronger smell which she found enticing. Good brand
