This bag keeps getting passed around because none of the cats will eat it. These are five stray cats of various ages, from three households so far and counting..
I was shocked that neither of my cats was interested in this since they usually eat anything. I've been looking into getting them on healthier, higher quality food (wet and dry) and this looked like a nice middle ground between the poor quality stuff they used to get and the pricier high-quality stuff I've tested out (they really liked Essence which I tried right before this - maybe that was my mistake, who knows). Very disappointed that I now have a full bag wasted and have to buy something else. Will donate this to a shelter or something since it honestly seems decent quality based on the ingredients list. Additional note - The kibble seems harder (denser?) than other dry foods I've had the cats try. Not sure if that made a difference to the overall eating experience, but interesting to note.
My cats are slowly getting to eating it. I want to feed them a better food but they struggle with change. I have tried mixing it with their old food and that seems to be working.
My cat loves this. I like how it’s healthier but still affordable. Just wish they had 7lb bags!
I’m feeding 5 cats, 4 are Feral, Shylah is the indoor cat who will only eat Fancy Feast wet cat food. I have been buying Friskies Gravy Swirlers(salmon and chicken) which they love. So recently Chewy’s has often been out of this food, and almost out of their food I desperately needed a replacement. I tried this Wellness happily because it’s healthier and has rice. It’s not good to change their food because diarrhea can occur, that’s why I chose rice because it’s binding. The 4 Feral’s wouldn’t touch it. So I went to the market and bought all different small bags made by Friskies that they had.Wish those that make these cat foods could understand how devastating it is for us when our cats food is out of stock! And how unhealthy it is for the cat to change brands of food, it must be done slowly but if your out of their original food you can’t do that.
Seems like good quality.. But my picky eaters wouldn’t eat this at all.
My cats wouldn’t touch this food. They literally ate all the old food around it when trying to switch them. I really really wanted to change them from their cat chow gentle to something better. So disappointed. Will give my bags to animal shelter in town
My picky eaters will barely touch this..sigh. Even mixed with the current brand they are eating. They eat around it
I bought this because I read that it's very healthy and species appropriate for cats. I can't speak to how healthy it is since I'm just not a scientist like that, but I can attest that my cat goes BONKERS for the stuff. Normally she's a grazer and won't even acknowledge when I'm serving up breakfast, but since I bought this Wellness stuff, she comes running when she hears the bag crinkling. 5 stars for a happy cat!
Had high hopes for this food, but after a few weeks of slowly mixing this in with his normal wet food my cat has been having diarrhea and overall isn't happy with this. Searching for something with less carbohydrates and filler.
