Packaging needs improvement and is the reason why it did not get 5 stars. The package is a twin package covered with a sharp tin foil and plastic (both scratched me several times - please sand those plastic sides). It is not reusable and cannot be used as a feeder. Each side of the twin package has approximately 1.3 oz. Although it says each pod is a portion and each package has two joined pods, they are so small that I needed to use the whole package (both pods) to feed my cat or be tormented by an angry hungry dragon. So, instead of losing space with the division, they should just do one 2.6 oz can that can or jar. I also wished that the packaging was reusable or recyclable. Tasting. I did not try it, but Sapphira seemed to enjoy it. She slept peacefully after eating. I also noticed her bowel movement became more regular which I think is a good thing, even though it requires more scooping time for me. It has no unpleasant smell like other wet foods. Smelled lightly like canned meat with no particular inconvenience. Sapphira can only eat pate for senior cats as minced meats or regular patés make her vomit. However, she did not vomit this one which is why I rated it so high. Except for the packaging issue, it would have been 5 stars.
