This is great stuff as clean ingredients, better quality than most! And my cats actually eat it. The only problem is, and this is totally my fault, I ordered this thinking it was an all stages cat food. We have a baby kitten, one year, old, and a tear old. So now I do not have any cat food for my baby kitten. But this stuff is really good.
This food gave my cat the smelliest farts known to man. They were so bad I could feel my nose hairs burning off. We wanted to try saving a couple bucks on his food but back to premium we go because I cannot live like this.
...but he was recently diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism, so we're "starting treatment" by making adjustments to his diet...and he is eating it. YAY!
The normal stuff I get my three cats was sold out, and this was comparable in price and ingredients. Unfortunately none of the cats will touch it, I even tried mixing in a little yogurt after a full day and a half of them not eating. they licked that off and left the kibble, they'd rather eat nothing than this I guess.
As the other comments state my 3 cats won't even touch the food. They will stand by the full bowl and beg for more food as if the bowl is empty. I tried this because it was supposed to be healthier. I'll have to go back to my old cat food.
My cats did NOT like this food at all, not sure why but there it is.
I recently adopted an 8 year old cat who has a chicken protein allergy and her previous diet was Royal Canin prescription food at $75 for about 7lbs. When I took her to my own vet to get refills they said it really wasn’t necessary based on her health and that I could pick up something OTC that was chicken-free. The RC food had chicken fat as the 3rd ingredient, so I didn’t mind it being the 7th ingredient here and I ordered it to try. The second I put this food down both my cats ate it up. They seem to really love it and it doesn’t seem to bother my sensitive cat at all. Very glad we found this cheaper option!
I have 3 cats and none of them will even touch this stuff. It smells strongly like fish food so I can't blame them. I mixed in their previous food with it to try to encourage them to try it to no avail. An unfortunate waste of money.
I love the ingredients and the company but I cannot get a single cat to eat this food! I have three cats myself and none of them would eat it. I tried giving it to several family members (who probably have at least 10 cats between them) and not one would eat it either. A bit of a bummer.
My girl has never been a pickey eater. I change her food flavor and brand pretty regularly. She won't touch this stuff, she would rather not eat than eat it. This bag has become dog meal toppers.
