I have previously bought this food for my dogs and they in the past have loved it this last bag I bought from chewy the littlenuggets that are in the bag had what looked to me like straw or hay attached to almost every single one and I have seen this food before, it never looked like this so I don’t think I’ll be feeding my dogs this brand of food anymore. I think I will go to Maverick.

Our 1.5 yo dog likes this food the best of all the dry foods she’s sampled (Iams, Orijen, Nulo, Purina Pro Plan, Hills, Jinx) I came back to it because my Aussie lived until age 15 on Wellness Core and was healthy her whole life except the last month. I bought the small bag (to sample) and there was a good mix of the freeze-dried goodies (see photo). Will stick with this food because of the ones sampled, it’s only kibble that she’ll eat the whole bowl of and I’m very comfortable with its ingredients and nutrients.

Ronan is fussy and sensitive.....to chicken and fish, so it was a bit challenging to find something in my price range, approved by the vet and something Ronan would eat that had no added chicken meat, meal or broth. This does the trick!

The freeze dried pieces and pretty good ingredients

My picky eater likes it ok but she has always been a terrible breakfast eater but gobbles up her evening meal.

I like the Wellness brand but this beef and barley formula contains chicken as the second ingredient. I have one dog who can’t eat chicken so after I opened the bag I couldn’t feed it. I plan on donating it to a shelter but this is a $75 mistake. It should have listed chicken in the name instead of beef and barley, don’t you think?
