Quality Chicken Free Food
By MaxsMom on Dec 29, 2020
I love the quality ingredients and that it is Chicken free. (My pup is allergic to Chicken and it has been one year of trial and error with foods.) He was not a big fan of the slivers of meat and gravy. I guess with Max it is a texture thing. I picked up a can of the Wellness 95 percent Pate at a local pet store and he loved it. So Wellness is our brand I just need to order a case of the Pate. I ended up donating the remaining 10 cans of the Hearty Cuts.

Dogs are in love
By Ashley on Jan 8, 2021
My two dogs will do backflips for this food. My knee dog isn't much of a foodie and rarely gets excited for food so that says a lot. A little expensive, but the dogs can't get enough.

Love this brand. Both my Danes love this food! I mix with wellness kibble and they both eat it up, have beautiful soft shiny coats

Great Food, But Needs Work
By CritterMama15 on Aug 23, 2020 top1000Contributor
Both of my dogs like this flavor, and my 63 lb Border Collie can eat it with no problem. My 10 lb Peekapoo however, requires some assistance. The meat chunks are absolutely HUGE. Way larger than I have ever seen in that of competing brands. For larger dogs, its still not much of an issue, but if you're purchasing for a smaller breed I would either buy their pate styles or find a different brand.

Success ... finally
By heather on Jun 23, 2020
my dogs inhale this food, it doesn't smell terribly ( though it did give 2 of them gas) ingredients are great! win -win. the cans did arrive kinda banged up and out of the case but they all looked fine so not a huge deal

Finicky girls love this stuff!
By POODLES on May 1, 2020
My 2 standard poodles love this stuff! One is 10 years old and had a rostral mandiblectomy for osteosarcoma. I mix this with their grain-free kibble, after a few minute soak in hot water, which is drained off before the soft food is added. They have never cleaned the plate with any other dog food! It has big juicy pieces of meat in it.

No dog will touch it
By BadDogGoodDog on Jun 4, 2020
My dog won't eat it, period. So I let several neighbors try it. No luck. Complete waste of money. To expensive to return.

Better suited for larger dogs
By Dizee on Feb 11, 2020 top500Contributor
If you have smaller dogs, 30 lbs. or less, you'll have to cut up the strips of "meat". Some of the strips or cuts, were about 4" in length. I bought this on sale and would buy it again, but would never pay $38. for a case of 12 cans for dog food, which isn't human grade.

My dog loves it!
By TB89 on Oct 14, 2019
I bought this to add to my dogs dry food as she is almost 12 and is having a hard time with dry food only, she has to be on a grain free diet due to health issues. She loves it!
