What is the shelf life of Wellness Natural Pet Food?
Wellness dry foods have an expiration of 18 months from date of manufacture. Wellness canned foods have an expiration of 3 years from date of manufacture. Dog & cat plastic have an expiration of 2 years from date of manufacture.
What does "natural" pet food mean?
Natural means we use ingredients that are derived from plants, animals and minerals in our recipes and that Wellness pet food contains no artificial preservatives or colors.
Why do your products sometimes vary in size, shape, color, texture or aroma?
Wellness products are natural, and as a result, you may experience product that looks slightly different in texture, color, shape, aroma and consistency from time to time. This is a function of natural products in general, but also raw material fluctuations and the manufacturing process. Please be assured that even though the product may look different from batch to batch, its superior nutritional value, palatability and safety does not change.
Why are some Guaranteed Analysis (GA) levels minimums and others maximums? Do you choose how to list them?
Minimum and maximum claims for each nutrient are established by AAFCO. The only necessary claims a pet food must make are for Crude Protein, Fat, Fiber, and Moisture.* Protein is always a minimum claim* Fat is always a minimum claim* Fiber is always a maximum claim* Moisture is always a maximum claimWhile these are the only nutrients mandated by AAFCO to carry min/max claims, ash may voluntarily be listed, but must be listed as a maximum guarantee. Any vitamins, minerals or live microorganisms (probiotics) may be labeled with a minimum guarantee. We're proud to be 1 of the only pet food manufacturers who are able to include guaranteed levels of probiotics on our dry food recipes. Probiotics can help improve digestion and immune system function.

Core Marrow Bones
By Bassetmom on Jan 9, 2021
My dogs really like these and I don't feel bad about giving them because of the ingredients. I don't give my dogs lots of treats and these are a good size. I can give them a couple a day without worrying about adding a lot of calories and they feel like they are getting a special treat besides their regular meals.

I was more excited than my pup was
By Tori on Jan 4, 2021
Our corgi loves the beef recipe and initially liked these, but has started to turn his nose up and there is still 3/4 of the bag left. I still wanted to give a decent rating because the ingredients are good and he could just be choosing to be picky.

just makes average
By toni175 on Jan 10, 2021
This is a healthy treat--I have 3 dogs, a senior pug, she'll eat it no problem, a middle aged miniature poodle, he'll eat it after being coaxed and a young Boston Terrier, she'll have non of it

Yummy Treats
By wndog on Nov 2, 2020
Our somewhat picky pups (actually we’re 10) enjoyed these because of the meat inside. The little dogs (25-35 lbs) think it’s a big treat and the big dog (125 lbs) thinks it’s a great tiny snack!

It’s a hit!
By Sdain31y on Jan 9, 2021
Tried these for our golden who is a little picky about treats, but he absolutely loves them. Think these are one of his favorite type treats now.

Excellent low fat treat
By Bill on Jan 9, 2021
My dog has special dietary needs so I need to be mindful about what treats she gets. These lower fat treats work perfectly and she enjoys them.

Disappointed
By JayJay on Aug 4, 2020
I feed my dog this same brand of grain free dog food but for whatever reason, these treats (after only 2 days) have made her dig at and keep licking her paws between her toes. I think it's the sweet potatoes in them. Not good for dogs prone to yeast issues. Will look for a different brand without sweet potatoes next time.

Good quality, good taste for my good boy.
By MichelleN on Jul 31, 2020
I like these because they are soft enough that I can break them apart for my toy breed. He is a very picky eater, but likes these. The soft cookie like outside and the chewy turkey core inside make this a new fave. Quality ingredients and made in the USA mean I can feel good about giving them to my little guy.

My dog gives it 10 stars!

My 16 pound pup loves them! He doesn’t do well with chews but kibble type treats are perfect!

My dogs FAVORITE treats --- marrow roasts.
By Tylees on Sep 19, 2020
We've tried all the treats we could find and boy - oh - boy did my dogs react with glee when the marrow roasts arrived. They are the favorite of this house.
