I have been buying these treats for my 3 giant breed babies for a few years. More recently the boxes are containing more broken biscuits than whole ones. I can’t expect my Danes to sit long enough while I grab several small pieces the equal one biscuit. And must i start feeding the Danes their treats in bowls to accommodate all the pieces? No I’d think not.

I got these for my dachshund pup because I work at a boarding kennel and owners send these treats in with their dogs a lot and dogs seem to love them. I chose the pumpkin cinnamon because my pup has a very sensitive stomach so I try to stick to treats with pumpkin in them. They smell absolutely amazing I will say, and I’m sure they’re amazing treats but my pup just doesn’t care for them.

Four stars because my GSD (Ms Picky) will accept these and eat them eventually. I do not think it is this treat per se'. I believe it is that she believes if she holds out longer, she might get something better. I set these in her food bowl and she will cave eventually and eat them all. So these must be good.

NOT ALWAYS CHICKEN FREE

These treats claim to have no chicken. My dog is allergic to chicken and I have been buying these for over a year because my dog loves them. I got a couple bags

These treats claim to have no chicken. My dog is allergic to chicken and I have been buying these for over a year because my dog loves them. I got a couple bags recently that definitely had chicken in them and caused my dog to have a reaction. Had to give the bags of treats away. Will not be repurchasing. Please beware if your dog has allergies that these treats are not always safe. The other flavors of this treat have chicken in the ingredients and can be cross contaminated with the pumpkin flavored one. According to my vet, dog treats/food do not have the same allergy label requirements and standards that human foods do.
