Been feeding this recipe to mt Terrier for years but this particular bag suddenly she has had diarrhea 😳, to the point of waking me in the middle of the night 🙄. She is eating, drinking and playing, no fever, otherwise happy healthy, no worms, has to be the food. No other diet changes. I don't feed scraps. The open bags are clipped closed and kept in a chest freezer in garage. I only bring in what is needed for short time. I can't help but wonder if we got we got a bad batch 😕 I always know when she is going need to go out, her tummy begins rumblings and she starts to pant. She runs out to the yard and her stool is just awful. I hate to change recipes on her if this was just a bad batch. She needs a diet food she gains weight easily. Just don't know what to do 🤔
I use this as a portion of my puggles diet. It has become a bit pricey, but I have had very good experiences with Wellness customer service, and years of quality product.
I have been feeding my schnauzers this for several years. Think it is a super company that has the interests and health of my canines.
Researched this for quite some time after my dog was having acid reflux. Really like the ingredient list, pretty impressive. We started with a small bag just to see if she would like it. Ended up getting a larger size and not sure if she is developing an allergy from the food or a season allergy because she’s been chewing at her paws. Trying to find the culprit, don’t completely want to shut the food down but it’s the only newish item that has been brought into the picture. Really want to keep this food around. I’ve taken many other routes like, smaller meals, added bone broth to mealtime, yogurt, slippery elk supplement, etc. Shes been a lot better but I think the food is definitely an upgrade and would like to keep it around. We’ll see. Still impressed with the ingredients.
Fed this to my never picky lab mix who could use to loose a few pounds. After a couple of weeks she was throwing up and not wanting to eat. We frequently change brands and proteins so we won’t have issues with build up of toxins from one particular brand. We try to get only high quality food. This is the 1st time in 8 years she was sickened by food and didn’t want to eat.
My dog was chewing all his hair off. Had him on medication that was expensive and not helping. Put him on grain free food, no more medication, no chewing and his coat looks great. And he enjoys the food
I've been feeding this dog food for a couple years, a 26 lbs. bag monthly. Every bag has at least a pound of dust in it. I have to shake the bag to get the dust to settle to the bottom. When I get down to the last 5-8 pounds I have to sift it. It worries me to give the dog too much of this dust not knowing if it has excess vitamins, probiotics, prebiotics etc. I really wish this issue would get resolved. The dog food does help manage my dog's weight and does give him a beautiful coat. If this issue ever get resolved I will give it five stars.
Wellness products are cosistently good. Unfortunately, to get my miniature schnauzer to eat it requires heavy doctoring. But, it has the fiber he needs to avoid anal gland issues. Fair trade.
I love wellness. I was super excited to try this for my hypothyroid girl, and on my other girl that needs a fat restricted diet. I bought two bags on sale, and did a slow transition. Man, the poop, though. They love it, they didn’t have loose stool during the transition but….my god. The huge logs. I’ve never seen such lorge stool coming out of my poor dogs. They went from pooping twice a day to about 4. Also, one of my girls began eating her own stool as well, which hasn’t happened since she was a puppy. While I do absolutely love Wellness. This food has not worked well for us.
Cody really loves it!!! Cody really loves it!!! Cody really loves it!!!
