Is the cover removable?

This bed is made with a removable cover. The bed is made with such amazing, durable fabric that most spots and spills can simply be wiped up with a damp cloth. For deep cleanings, throw the entire mat into the washer and dryer. Wash fully assembled or remove bolsters and wash bed parts individually — however the bed fits best in your washing machine.

Actually they were navy blue and medium or large - not oatmeal XL

I have previously purchased West Paw beds for my dogs - I like that they are washable and environmentally responsible. And the dogs love them. I am guessing these have been discontinued though (which is a shame), so I picked up four of these beds for traveling with my dogs. They weren't as thick as the ones I bought previously, but still constructed well and washable. The dogs had no problem napping on them.

Torn up in a day

I only am giving it 4 stars because a Q & A of the bed on this website indicated that this bed had a removable cover. I purchased it because I wanted a removable cover. It's easy to clean, but it's disappointing that there is incorrect info on the website.

wonderful bed

I don't know what it is about this bed... all my animals loves it, cats, rabbit and dog can't get enough of it. none of them are destructive though so the bed stay

I don't know what it is about this bed... all my animals loves it, cats, rabbit and dog can't get enough of it. none of them are destructive though so the bed stay in one piece, still in perfect condition. I have got those beds for 3 years. I can see why someone has dog who likes to dig may make this bed a 'one time use' item. but if you have adult dogs who doesn't have any issue with digging and chewing things up, this bed is probably a good choice for you.

Unfortunately my dogs hair and the Fleece are strongky attracted to each other so it always looks dirty and grey vs "midnight"/navy. Good choice for crate as fits better than anything else I found size wise and isn't fluffy/stuffed enough to elicit tearing or shredding.

Depends on the dog.

Our Husky did not like it. Too warm and cushy. Good for heat liking dogs. He thought it was the perfect toy to rip to pieces!
