Can be a Chocking Hazard

Both of my cats love these but they are so small that one cat got a treat caught in his throat and began choking. I quickly picked him up and used the Hymlec manuver

Both of my cats love these but they are so small that one cat got a treat caught in his throat and began choking. I quickly picked him up and used the Hymlec manuver on him and the treat popped out. It was very scary indeed. Make sure you supervise your cats carefully after giving these.

I wanted to get my kitty treats that would be healthy and serve another purpose, help keep her teeth clean. I use gentle tooth wipes on her weekly, and every so often cat tooth brush and vet recommended cat toothpaste. But, I also wanted to reward her for being so good now actually letting me clean her teeth. These particular dental treats are what I was looking for, and she loves them. At first, she had a hard time chewing them, but now is crunching them up, instead of just ingesting them whole. They have better ingredients and are much healthier than other products I have read the labels on. And, they are affordably priced so I don't feel I'm over spending on her healthcare. It's better than spending $350-$400 on dental cleaning at the vet!!

My cat likes the Wellness brand wet and dry food, but didn't like these treats. She tentatively licked one and then tried to chew it but then spit it back out, so

My cat likes the Wellness brand wet and dry food, but didn't like these treats. She tentatively licked one and then tried to chew it but then spit it back out, so I think the taste and texture were off for her. It seemed like she had difficulty chewing as it came back out intact, so I think maybe it was too crunchy for her (and she normally likes crunchy treats).

These a small round treats, looks like kibble. I knocked off a star because I think one of my cats was just swallowing them whole instead of chewing them, that’s how small the treats are. (I toss treats for her and she enjoys chasing them down haha. But the treats are definitely not cleaning teeth if she’s not chewing them.) I also noticed there wasn’t the “VOHC” label on the package so that’s a bummer which is why I knocked off another star. Overall, cats enjoyed them but won’t be buying them strictly for teeth cleaning purpose.
