Effectively reducing plaque!

Our pets love this treat and hound (!) me to give them their share every day. I feel great that I become an important person in the world for 30 seconds! Jokes apart, the treat seems to work well on our 9 year old cat who had plaque on his teeth. It seems to be lessening it. The other two pets get to enjoy the treats as a preventative measure.

Long story short, these are big enough (the size of Reese’s Puff cereal ) that cats SHOULD have to chew them and thus reap the dental cleaning benefits. Alas, my greedy bum of a cat (only 10 pounds but obsessed with food) still insists on swallowing them whole. Why? I don’t know. She has healthy teeth and is NOT food-deprived. She crunched about 30%. 70% went down whole. These aren’t nutritious enough to be a “good” treat without the dental benefits. Bummed I bought a big bag. Just a warning for anyone else with a shamelessly gluttonous cat. The best i’ve done is with dehydrated salmon/chicken treats, which my cat will usually chew - though the dental benefit is likely minimal.

Cornchip was not real sure about the change in smell or taste!! He's been getting the chicken ones for a long time now!! I think hopefully in time he will like them!!

A fun treat

My cats love these. They are round and roll and make a fun addition to the treat rotation. Also seems to help with plaque build up.

The big ball shape makes a difference

I have one cat that has some gum issues, and does not like to chew(thus the need for dental treats). He chews these because of the shape, so that is very helpful

Easy to add to food

It's hard to please our little cat, but she loves all of the different varieties of the Dentalife treats. After the second order I could see brighter teeth. No fuss
