adopted 2 adult cats and tried many many different sorts of cat food- canned, dried, frozen and they seem to prefer this. I'm a little concerned that they will only eat dry food and so have to make sure they drink plenty of water. Cats often succumb to kidney problems because they don't drink enough.

Crushed cans

Several cans were crushed and opened and the box was opened along the side. Cat food was all over the cans that weren’t crushed. Had to wash all the cans that I didn’t have to toss.

Has reduced incidence of cats throwing up

This was recommended to a friend by her vet. He said at conferences he attends a lot of the vets sing the praises of Iams. Two friends of mine have also switched. We all have multiple cats and all have seen decrease/elimination of throwing up. I think mine like the salmon flavor better than the chicken. They like food in teal bag better than food in orange bag. Not sure they all love it but they will eat it hence the four stars rather than five stars.

My cat tried chicken and this salmon cat food. Then she prefers to eat this salmon! So we’re always buying this cat food.

Definitely helps with hairballs

Of course the cat that gets hair balls turns her nose up at hairball medicine. She loves this cat food tho and it has helped a lot.
