Questions & Answers

9 Customer Questions

Are these harder or softer?
Answer by ChewyJan 22, 2021
These freeze-dried treats have a softer texture that can easily be crumbled, if needed.

Do u keep refrigerated after opt?
Answer by ChewyMar 18, 2019
These treats do not require refrigeration after being opened. It's recommended to store them at room-temperature in a dry area.

Is the chicken in the treats (sweet potato treats, fruit treats, etc...) chicken breast like in the freeze dried chicken breast treats?
Answer by ChewyMar 18, 2019
The treats are made from 100% natural and human grade chicken. Freeze dried is raw, not cooked. There is no heat applied. The freezers are 85 degrees below zero as well as pressurized and that extracts the moisture from the product. Freeze drying locks in all the big bold flavors with no nutrient loss, no preservatives and minimal processing.

Can these be fed to a cat?
Answer by ChewyMar 15, 2023
This treat is intended for dogs.

my dog has no interest in these

I wanted so badly for him to like them. He loves freeze dried meats and his kibble is freeze dried. We were hoping to have a great he would enjoy that isn’t pointless calories and have these a try. He sniffs them and walks away. They are larger than expected, so I broke a few to see if that would help and did it only encouraged him to put it in his mouth them spit it out. I even tried mixing them in with some of his Vitakraft drops and freeze-dried chicken. He ate those and left these. I knew I should have only bought one bag, but I was foiled by the BOGO.

My dog loves these

I bought these because my dog has a sensitive stomach. I give him one first thing in the morning and he loves them. His stomach seems to be doing much better as well.

Yummy treats

Where do I start. I started giving these to my dog a little over a week ago. He has been having some stomach issues (the vet suspects colitis maybe) where he would have blood in his poop. Long story short it has subsidies. I am going to continue giving him these treats 3 times a day as suggested on the directions for his size. He loves the flavor too!

Whole life pumpkin treats

Our dogs love these treats, especially our senior dogs. They have a slight crisp on the outside but soft enough for them to chew.

Fantastic!!

Princess had stomach problems until our trainer recommended these. Whether I give it as a treat or crumble one on her food, she loves them and has no more problems.

Hard Stools and Pup Loves It!

Amazing product. I am so excited to have found these healthy treats at such an affordable price. My cavapoo has a very sensitive tummy, and these little cookies not only did not upset his tummy, but it seems like his stools are harder since he started taking them. I am impressed. He is 25lbs and I only give him one a day with his supper and that seems to do the trick! He also seems to love the flavor (and he is VERY picky with food), as I included one of these in his food plate along with his dehydrated dog food and some pieces of freeze dried lamb, and he chose to eat this cookie first. If you are undecided on whether to try these cookies or no, just give them a shot. It’s the best I’ve found for my puppy’s sensitive tummy.

gave my dog diarrhea :(

Loved the ingredients on these treats but they gave my doggy bad diarrhea. I gave my pup 2-3 a day for a few days and then he had bowel issues for a few days after. Might just be my pups stomach.

Best treat

My beagle has a very sensitive stomach. These added the probiotics she needed and the treat she loves. We have went through many bags of these.

My Dog was confused...

I thought that this would be a great choice for my dog, but when I tried to feed it to him, he seemed confused as to what it was. My dog loves treats, and I wanted to give him something that wasn't as fattening as other treats. This seemed like a good alternative. He eats it, but I don't think he really likes it. It's hit or miss. I would also suggest smaller bite-sized versions.
