Feed as a treat to supplement your dog’s regular maintenance diet. Provide plenty of clean, fresh water daily for your dog.
This treat made my 2 year old dog sick. One day after consuming 2 treats during course of the day he was vomitting and acting under the weather so I skipped and tried a few days later when feeling better. Again he was feeling poorly, low energy- vomitting and diarrhea. I tried again when he was feeling better and the same.
I didn't know these were so big. My dog can't chew them I gave them to a freind of mine who had a big dog. No i would not recommend to any one with a small/medium dog with teeth issues.
The dog likes them and I like them. They are substantial and very crunchy. That's why the dog likes them. Simple minimal ingredients and reasonable calories for the size of the treat. That's why I like them. My dog is about 8 and though we do a 4 mile hike or walk each day before breakfast she was showing some weight. I changed to low cal kibble and changed her morning treat to a Lite Bite. She eagerly takes the Lite Bite and because it is so solid and crunchy doesn't just gulp it in one bite. She looks fantastic. She is half German Shepherd and about 58 pounds. I feel like the size and substance of the treat is perfect for her.
*Arrived on time, package in perfect condition.* Beginning with a bit about Simon, my Pittie/Cane Corso mix- he's a rescue. He was badly abused by the not-much-of-a-"human" who had him before me and he has some invisible scars (internal injuries). His mouth and throat were damaged from either beatings or more likely brutal handling on chains or leashes and he has to take very small bites and chew well to avoid problems. In the photos, these treats appear considerably smaller, but I thought even if not, I should easily be able to break them up for him, right? He does seem to really like the taste in spite of a bit of difficulty eating a one third piece of 'cookie' at a time. I'll either have to take the time in the kitchen and break them up with a knife (or a sledgehammer, lol), or I may just throw them out- may be more effort than they're worth? I saw other reviews saying this same thing- maybe they'll hear it enough and correct it? Time will tell.
These looked really small in the picture with the listing but they are not. The dogs love them though.
The photos are MISLEADING. They are TOO BIG for a small dog. Bummer.
These are a good mini size, just right for all size dogs!
Della is getting ready to have knee surgery and I figure these would be the best treats to give her for 6-8 weeks while she recivers
My 4 pits loves these treats. I have tried different treats in the past & had mixed reviews from the pack. But these they all really like them.
We have been buying this product from Chewy for several years. Our dogs have allergies and unknown to us this product's ingredients have changed, but we were never notified. Nothing was posted on the website when we reordered these dog biscuits. Chewy should have changed the product order number as it is not the same product because it has different ingredients. It would have saved our dogs the misery of having their food allergy flareups and constant scratching.
