Does the middle piece come out for an option as one large kennel?

The middle piece is not removable or optional when assembling.

Small to Medium Dog Only

So we got really lucky with this one because we did not compare the measurements of the kennel space to that of our dogs. The description says it fits 2 XL dogs,

So we got really lucky with this one because we did not compare the measurements of the kennel space to that of our dogs. The description says it fits 2 XL dogs, however our 72 lb boy just fit while our 32 boy had more rook for movement. It also took 4-5 hours to put together. It is large enough to fit our big TV and other things, but I worry how durable and long lasting it will be. Also, I wish the back was solid instead of having bars. Our bigger boy loved his last kennel, but he is scared of this one due to the creaking sound it makes when he steps in it. But we are stuck with this because no way are we going to spend more time taking it apart and figuring out how to ship it back....

Grateful that it keeps two Boxers contained.

It's good but the constant pee gets down inside the track of the doors. We have to do extra cleaning but at least it keeps them from destroying anything else.
