How bad does this litter track?

Answer by ChewyMar 28, 2018
This quick clumping cat litter provides maximum odor control while minimizing dust and tracking around your home.

Does this contain pesticides?

Answer by ChewyMar 08, 2018
Per the manufacturer, pesticides may or may not have been used by each individual farmer when growing the corn. As each farmer's techniques vary, the answer will vary as well.

Is this a litter a cat might eat? I've had one type of litter that one of my cats was eating because of the corn in it. I don't want that to happen again since she literally would jump in the box and eat it (regardless if the box was clean or dirty). Thank you.

Answer by ChewyApr 23, 2019
Typically, when a cat begins to eat kitty litter, it's due to a health condition. Cats with vitamin or mineral deficiency may also begin eating kitty litter. We urge you to speak with your vet to ensure the cat is healthy.

About how long would this last one cat?

Answer by ChewyMar 02, 2018
The bag duration can vary depending on how often you completely change the litter. It can normally last up to 2 months with one cat.

We were looking for a new litter so this is one of three that we bought from Chewy and we like this one the best so I’ll be ordering more. We used Cloud Control litter for years, but they must’ve changed the formula because now it has so much dust in it, It’s like spreading sand all over the floor, so I wanted something that would not track as much, and that my cats would not have to lick off dust from on their paws. So we’re mixing World’s Best with the cloud control half and half to get them used to it, but so far so good. We’ve seen a lot less tracking, and I don’t see dusty paw prints all over my wood floors like I did when we were just using Cloud Control. Hopefully they’ll continue to like it once it is all World’s Best in the litter boxes.

The texture of this litter is bulkier than most I have tried which deters tracking. I mixed it with Dr Elseys litter and my cat had no problem adjusting to just The Worlds Best Unsecented Clumping Corn Cat Litter. Also like option of lower weight bags as 20 lb bags are more than I want to carry.

Ease of use, pleasant, relatively odorless!

I had begun with other litters from the local grocery, and was constantly having to sweep up around the litter box after each use. With World's Best, that chore instantly ceased. Very little tracking around the box. The odors also improved instantly. I love that Chewy is flushable. The poopies get flushed, and even if the urine clumps are not removed immediately, there is NO lingering odor. Although it is more expensive, I consider it a wonderful gift to me. And Chewy helps with their auto-ship reduction.

I can’t stand the standard clay litter, especially scented. I got this because it is biodegradable, has no scent, and clumps. I’ve been really impressed with how it holds up (I fully replace the litter infrequently, as our cats will also go outside). It is usually the fact urine smell is strong because of so much use (even after cleaning clumps out) that I need to change out. If you hate scented litter, this is a good option.

Clumping is ok. Odor control is ok. Tracking is ok. The only thing I don’t understand is why after my cat using it her paws were all covered by the dust. There’s barely dust when you scoop but it’s all left on cats paws and legs. I don’t know if it’s safe for cats to lick it all up after that. I think I will pass on this one. My cat is Siamese so it’s hard to unsee the dust

As expected, it took my cat some time to get used to switching to this litter. There were some growing pains. But he's used to it now. Overall, it's better quality. Less smell, dust in the air, and clean up. He licks himself less because it doesn't stick to him. I'm going to keep trying it.

We were using the clay litter for a while although I wanted to switch to something else because it didn't manage the smell very well and it was heavy. We switched to the pine-type, which managed the smell very well, but my older cat stopped setting foot inside the litter box after a day or two. After doing some research, we decided to try this, and my picky older cat willingly went into the litter box! This seems to manage the smell very well, and it is light. So far, so good!

This litter is the dustiest litter I have ever tried. I have mixed it with other litters to try to be able to use it up, but I still have most of the bag and have decided not to use the rest of it. Every time I scoop the litter clouds of dust billow up. I think this may be the World's Worst Litter.

Does not help with ammonia control

This product does smell like corn. It’s not bad. If your place is not well ventilated, you will have that cornflakes kind of smell in your house. Again, not bad

This product does smell like corn. It’s not bad. If your place is not well ventilated, you will have that cornflakes kind of smell in your house. Again, not bad. This stuff does not help with ammonia gas control. There are other brands that do a better job at controlling ammonia. Ammonia and odor control are two separate things. Ammonia is a gas and causes a lot of damage to your respiratory system. The odor is a separate component that is just unpleasant to smell. I am not a fan of this litter type for studio spaces or single apartment spaces bc/ of this issue. Wish I could return.

After trying all kinds of litters, including clay, pine pellets, etc., we tried this brand. It is superior to everything else on the market It lasts forever, controls odor, clumps beautifully, and does not make the awful mess. Clay litter does. Plus, it is soft on. paws. It is worth every penny. c
