Since this is something that I would have to review over time, this is only my INITIAL feelings about the product. It came well packaged, seems fresh and didn't give off any weird odors (which happens sometimes with a supplement. I was hoping for some direction on some ways to "serve" it considering it's a powder and my dog eats dry kibble...but I gave it a whirl. It definitely passed the yummy test. Hipster not only ate the powder on the kibble but he licked his bowl....then my other dog followed up to make sure he didn't miss any crumbs (and I use slow feeders!). Getting your dog to eat a supplement is half the battle...so I give it a win for starters!!

This is perfect for a daily maintenance for dogs…kind of like a multi vitamin per se. The product facts display things that I give my dogs separately such as bone broth, fish oil, and pumpkin to name a few. This brings it down to 1 bottle on the counter instead of having several bottles of supplements out, and it frees up space in my fridge too. I love that this can be given and it doesn’t give them fishy breath either! The only thing I wasn’t too thrilled about was that in comparison to what I currently have on hand, the Glucosamine HCL is the only ingredient that is a lower dosage than the average supplement of its kind. Either way, this is totally worth it!

Honestly, it literally took me 2 days and multiple tries to open the lid. Not sure why, but it felt like it was glued shut. After I finally got it open, I started using it for my 120+ lbs Bernese. The label says dogs 60+ lbs should get 1.5 scoops a day. To avoid any stomach issues, I didn’t give him full 1.5 scoops in one meal at first. Instead, I gave 1 scoop in the morning and a half scoop in the evening (mixed with his regular food). So far so good. It has only been a few days, so I can’t really say much about skin or joint benefits yet, but the powder has light scent and my dog doesn’t seem to mind it. He eats his food as usual.

So far, so good. I've been giving my 1 year old black lab a half scoop of the powder twice a day sprinkled over each meal for a few weeks now. It's too early to tell if it's really doing anything for his skin, coat and joints but he honestly gets more excited to eat now! You wouldn't think of dogs as picky eaters but he usually sniffs his bowl then doesn't show interest to eat it for a few hours later. But with this, he literally gets excited and finishes his bowls 99% of the time.

I really liked this product! We started using it right as the seasons were shifting and temps were cooling. My lab mix really blew his cost this year and what grew in was some of the shiniest fur I’ve seen! I enjoy this powder over an oil because it’s less messy and easy to use! This is great especially if you’re traveling. We used it only on dry kibble so I don’t know how this rehydrates in liquid.

My dog tends to become picky about his food. Since using the Wuffwell Skin & Coat Supplement, he'll eat his food when this is sprinkled on it. He seems to enjoy the taste, and has stopped having dry skin. I have hope that the collagen in this product will help his joints.

I started my doberman, Kane, on Wuffwell collegen roughly 2 wks ago. He loves it! The product is easily sprinkled to the top of his food. I like that it does not have a weird offensive smell. His coat seems to have a sheen to it. I think his fur is softer!

Not for our dog

Was extremely difficult to open as lid seemed to be crooked. Used on 7yr old Great Dane with mild arthritis for 4 days. Large amount needed per dose (1 1/2 scoops)

Was extremely difficult to open as lid seemed to be crooked. Used on 7yr old Great Dane with mild arthritis for 4 days. Large amount needed per dose (1 1/2 scoops) Disappointed that since use dog has had an upset stomach daily after ingesting. Will be discontinuing use. Haven’t seen any other effects, but don’t expect to with this short period of time. Product seems to have a pleasant aroma as our cats were very interested in it.

Great supplement

This is the first powder supplement I have tried with my dog. She loves it. She thinks it's very tasty. I haven't really noticed a change in her coat or anything

This is the first powder supplement I have tried with my dog. She loves it. She thinks it's very tasty. I haven't really noticed a change in her coat or anything but she's also a short-haired Pitbull so not sure how much this would change her normal coat. But she loves it.
