Method 1: Sprinkle the appropriate quantity of DentaTreat™ (specified below) onto any variety of meal.
Method 2: For maximum effectiveness, feed DentaTreat™ independently. This allows the active nutrients to exert their beneficial effects without dilution. Sprinkle the specified quantity in a bowl (or on a plate or clean surface) for your pet to lick up, or apply directly to the teeth as a dentifrice.
Both methods are proven effective, but the independent administering of the supplement facilitates the greatest possible interaction between the supplement and the teeth and gums.
1 teaspoon = 3 - 4 shakes, divide among feedings. Keep tightly sealed. Store in temperate conditions. For long term freshness and preservation freeze or refrigerate.
Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet’s exact health needs. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.
It is recommended to give the suggested dosage based off your pet’s weight. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

Purchased for our Lab Retriever who has had bad breath since we got him. We have been giving him the DentalTreat for around 2 1/2 weeks and we can see a big difference difference. The only problem is the cost of the DentalTreat. Based on his weight the recommended dosage is 6 teaspoons daily. Even with the larger 9 oz. size we have used 3/4 of the bottle. Would like to have a larger bottle with a lower per ounce cost available.
All the kitties love this one! They'll eat it plain, mixed with a tablespoon of water, or sprinkled on top of their food. Will definitely be back for this versatile product :)
This product is wonderful. It is best used as a concentrate as detailed on the label-- Mixed in a small amount of food vs. diluted in a whole meal. But, diluted or not, it will work. It bathes the mouth in beneficial bacteria and enzymes which is the natural and more effective route to oral health than trying to kill bad and good bacteria with an agent like chlorhexidine. Of course, all dental care products work better when combined with a low carb, species appropriate canid diet. I give to my dogs 3 to 4 times a week in concentrated form: I smear a heaping tablespoon of plain yogurt on a saucer and sprinkle on the recommended dosage. The yogurt's acidity, enzymes and dental friendly bacteria participate in the cleaning session.
Not pleased with the results. I have been using this for over a month with my dogs and I have seen no improvement. My chihuahua has more stains now then before using this product. Didn't work for us.
My cats love eating this stuff. I really haven’t noticed much difference in their dental health. I might try a different style of this product in the future.
After a couple months of use, my dog's teeth actually look slightly worse than before. She loves the taste though.
My dogs all love this product. The fact that it helps clean their teeth is a happy bonus. With that said..........I bought this product 1 month ago from Chewy and it was $20.89. Now the price has surprisingly jumped to $27.80, with auto ship. Does the company see that a product has been selling well and decide to increase the price??? I may have to rethink this product or buy it else where. With 3 dogs, this will get very pricey.
Both dogs love cheese, and this didn’t have amy strange odor or texture, but the Jack Russell will NOT eat his food with this on it, and he loves his food (Victory kibble). It also doesn’t shake out but pours out of the shaker side. Directions call for the same amount for adult dogs regardless if size, but maybe a tsp split between two meals is too much of that taste in his food, I don’t know. Waste of $20 though IMHO.
I had originally loved this product but after using it for about a month my cat developed very bad crystals in it's urine and had to be rushed to the emergency vet due to an obstructed bladder. Hope this works better for others but be careful using this as a daily addictive for your older cats, mine is 11.
Read many great reviews of this product but not noticing an improvement in my dog's breath. Disappointing.
