Had hopes for this supplement for 2 senior cats, but results were the opposite. Both cats health seemed to slip once this was added to canned food once a day for a week. Results were not as hoped so we will not purchase this again. We tossed it out of fear.

If you don't want to read my entire review, here is the brief. Buy F-Biotic right now. Don't second guess yourself. Start slow. Give only 1/16th teaspoon per meal, move up to 1/8th teaspoon. Watch the results happen. Thank Wysong later. You're welcome. MY STORY: I rescued a cat in December 2022 that was in terrible shape. I believe he was someone's house cat that was thrown out. He was horribly overweight, super friendly, and loving. At first, I thought he simply wandered onto my porch and liked to sleep there. But when he started coming around soaking wet, filthy, injured, and with a goopey eye, that's when I realized something was wrong and he needed help. I brought him in and had him checked for a chip - No chip. The doc said he was a 2 year old unneutered male Persian infested with fleas, with every type of worm and parasite known to cat-kind. And (my addition), he smelled like a litter box that hadn't been cleaned in a month... I spent over $1,500 in vet bills, fixed him up, neutered him, and shared my home with him. He was "officially" healthy. But the story doesn't end there because he still had loose stools, firm enough to hold shape, but not enough to be called "healthy". He still stank because it would stick to his fluffy backend. I was cleaning it off the carpets, beds, and the couch constantly. Cleaning him up every day was causing him to become aggressive, and he was starting to hide all day long between meals. I only saw a mild improvement by cutting out fish. I discovered that salmon gave him explosive diarrhea, and tuna made him insanely itchy. I put him on a limited ingredient diet with only chicken/turkey and spent a small fortune on high quality food, including probiotic supplements. I bought a stack of books on holistic cat health written by veterinarians and realized that most food on the market lacks the vitamins and minerals recommended to support digestive health (and overall health for that matter!). In the meantime, my daughter brought digestive enzymes to my attention. When I saw this product in June, it immediately excited me. Not only does it have vitamins, but it also has digestive enzymes! I was a little concerned that it had fish enzymes, but I jumped for it anyway (and I'm glad I did). When it came in, I was afraid to make his stomach more upset, so I gave him 1/16 of a teaspoon and mixed it into the gravy of his canned food (he always laps up all the gravy first). I was shocked. His stool started firming up within 24 hours. Within 3 days, it improved so much that I couldn't tell the difference between him and my other 2 cats. I increased the amount to 1/8th teaspoon twice a day, always mixed into his gravy. It's been two weeks, and his stools are still solid. When I increase the amount more, he starts showing signs of itchy feet, so I think I'm at his threshold for comfortable detoxing or fish enzymes. I'm now using it for all three of my cats, and I don't think I'll ever stop buying it, even if I decide to switch them to raw. I noticed right away that the odor of the litter boxes has gone down tremendously, and their stools are smaller and dryer. But on the flip side, I'm seeing more urine output, which makes me think the moisture in their stools is being processed by their body better. I've also noticed that they all sleep better, are awake and active longer, and are in a positive mood most of the time now. I had no idea that their random mood swings were related to their diet, but it makes total sense! Thank you, Wysong! You've created an amazing product. More people should be feeding F-Biotic to their cats.

My sister and I were both feeding this to our cats and they really loved it. Not as much as they love Forti-Flora, but it's far less expensive. Sometime in late 2022 something in the formula or a supplier of an ingredient changed. Everything is the same on the label, but the cats turn up their noises and want nothing to do with it. My sister called and talked to them, as she buys this in 5 pound containers! Nothing to do about it at this point. I took a risk and ordered a 9 oz bottle, and I got the same reaction from my cats. Until they can find out what went wrong and send me a sample that my cats will eat, I won't buy it or recommend it.

Two of my cats I've been trying to get this into aren't picky, they'll eat anything usually, but not this. If I add more than 1/64th tsp to their canned food, they won't eat it. It was worth a try. The other cats are more picky, so I'm not surprised that they turned their noses up at it.
