Why does this contain garlic? Garlic is a poison to cats.

Garlic, when used in small amounts, can help support the immune system, liver and cardiovascular system prevents blood clots and reduces cholesterol/fat build up in the blood and heart. Actually works great! You should buy it

Okay so I had no idea how I could give this a review, since how would I tell if it works? However, after using it for months, I can say that it definitely works great and you should buy it. 1.) All of the cats from day 1 have liked it (even the extremely picky one who doesn't like mixing things with his food) 2.) One cat, who has always had dandruff & sheds a lot, through months of having this supplement now has shiny, smooth fur and lots of energy :) No dandruff at all and I've barely had to brush her! All of my cats are looking great so I am pleased with this supplement :) I recommend it especially if your wet food doesn't contain probiotics already. Mine does not and I've been feeding the same wet food for quite a while so that's how I can confidently recommend this product

Very Good Senior Cat Supplement

Giving to 17 year old cat with kidney disease who eats limited wet food only. Before starting, cat was lame and wobbling, stumbling like a drunk. Had Vet labs and was low in potassium, so giving potassium supplement, phosphate binder and this. Cat walking now, much improved. This has vitamins which canned food does not. Repeat labs show improvements. Just mix it in food as directed. Cat is doing terrific!

They like it!

Didn't think my 17 1/2 year old Tigger would eat his food with this added to it (he's picky), but he loves it. My 4-yr-old Pookie loves it too. Tigger's is mixed in, Pook's is sprinkled on top, and I feel better knowing they're getting better nutrition.

my cats didn’t like it

Unfortunately my cats hated this! They avoided any food that smelled like it!

Great product

I got this in hopes of adding it to wet food pouches labeled for supplemental feed to cats to make it a complete meal. This one and Addlife have the exact same ingredient list so I just chose the one with just kitties pictured :). Well, my one cat won't eat this mixed in with said food pouches. My other kitty was having loose stools, almost daily. He's a rescue, probably not used to eating canned food which is something I've given my cats daily, and I never feed the same wet food two days in a row. Mixed this in with his wet food and I haven't seen a loose stool since starting him on this. I have other pre/probiotic powders with digestive enzymes but I like this one because it's a bit easier to mix in food.

my cats will not touch the food with this

I had an expensive prescription form of a supplement and the cats loved it. I mean they came running and fought over it. I thought since the prescription ran out, I would try a less expensive supplement. They do NOT like this at all. As a matter of fact, the plate with this in the wet food was not touched at all. I did not expect them to love it like they did the other brand, but they want nothing to do with this one.

Greatly helped the last months of my beloved kitty's life!!!

I thank God that I found this product when searching for ANY help with my 21yr old kitty's health...she was feeling pretty bad- throwing up daily- quite often each day even! I'd had her Vet come to the home to see her regarding this. She had horrible lab results across the board including terribly high white cells for which she was given an antibiotic that thankfully helped her heal up a pretty nasty abscess in her jaw/mouth. It was around this time that I found this product and started using immediately and low and behold she appeared to LOVE it- she ate more than she had in quite some time. She was down to eating mostly only wet food by this point, but even wanted to eat more of the treats I'd give her too to get some crunch for the teeth she still had! The first thing I noticed past the amount of food she was eating was that she simply stopped throwing up!! I'd say she only threw up a couple times in a few months which was a sheer miracle compared to prior to starting use of this supplement. I have recently watched the video in the link of all those commercials out there now about what's missing in pet food....turns out to me, they seem quite similar...and the REASON they're needed defintely seems similar! They advertise such great ingredients in so many of the foods available now but NONE of that matters once they go thru all the HEAT processing necessary to allow the shelf life required of such products. Makes perfect sense and even as a well educated well meaning pet parent, it never really occured to me that their food lacks MOST of the health benefits that would come from it due to the heat required to process it. Obviously it loses some- why else would we be interested in the benefits of raw diets...but my babies wouldn't eat it, and boy did I try everything! ;-) Gotta start when they're babies I guess! ANYWAY...if you are on the fence- get it! Can't see how this could hurt your furballs...not a vet and I'm sure if there are medical issues you should obviously pass it by your vet, but I can only speak to the relief it gave my baby girl and who knows- maybe it gave us a few extra months together! Sadly, we lost that battle 1 month short exactly of her 22nd birthday...won't go there as it's raw as all get out still but had to reach out and try to help even one mama/daddy help their baby feel better and hopefully live a longer, happier, more pain free life!! Thanks Wysong and as always, thank you Chewy!!! You have been the absolute best for the past MANY years now...can't say enough about what an amazing company you've got going!! :-) God Bless!
