Feeding Instructions
With the bag sealed, and before each feeding, give the contents a quick shake to disperse and redistribute micronutrients. Some micronutrient powder settling at the base of the bag is normal.
Add the desired quantity of Optimize to any form of pet food, or feed as a supplemental standalone meal.
A rough guideline is 1 oz of Wysong Optimize per 1 cup (~4 ozs) of pet food. If being fed as an independent meal or treat, replace each cup of regular food with 2 - 3 ozs of Wysong Optimize. (Because Wysong Optimize is a Starch Free, natural meat - based food, strict portion control is not required. Pet caretaker discretion is sufficient.)
When pouring Wysong Optimize, expect and allow for loose micronutrient powder to pour out with the meat chunks. This is a good thing!
When all meat contents are used, disperse any remaining micronutrient powder at the base of the bag onto subsequent meals of any variety!
Optimize is intended to be used as an addition to any commercial dry or canned pet food. It may also be fed as a standalone meal, and as part of a healthy varied feeding regimen. To avoid digestive disturbances, mix with the present diet beginning at about 10% and then gradually increase proportions.

Wysong is the best!
I have been feeding Wysong for 20 years. My two cats are 18 years and have very good health due to excellent nutrition and supplements that Wysong produces.

I gave this product 4 stars, because Wysong is a ver good quality product. However my ferret would not eat this at all. I tried several times, but no go.

Made my cat very sick!
My cat loves this stuff, but even the tiniest piece makes him vomit profusely every time he eats it. I tried contacting Wysong about it in case there was a bad batch,

I purchased this food topper because It has organic chicken and seems to be a healthy addition for my ferrets diet. I purchased the Wysong starch-free ferret food and discovered this food topper as well. Introduce this gradually because it's very high in protein so introducing it too fast can cause a tummy ache. Also, the picture appears to look like soft chewy chicken chunks, but in reality it is freeze dried. Just a heads up! but overall my ferrets seem to love this food topper, so therefore I recommend this product.
