The moment I opened the bag, both of my pitbull mixes perked up; clearly something about the smell caught their attention. They didn’t hesitate for a second and devoured the treats right away. These are high quality, air dried beef treats made from certified organic, grass fed meat, and it shows. No fillers or weird ingredients, just a clean, simple snack I can feel good about giving them. First off I’m pretty sure there is a mistake in the listing description. These are definitely not a soft and chewy treat. They are very hard and crunchy, pretty much no moisture in them. I broke one apart before feeding, which was very hard to do. By looking at the bag itself it does not claim to be soft and chewy. That being said my dogs were interested in these treats even though they do prefer softer ones. My dogs are around 15 lbs but I’m not sure I would give these to any smaller than that. I think they liked these crunchy treats over others because of the beef. And the collagen makes me happy!

These have quickly become some of my dogs’ favorite treats! My dogs don’t always like crunchy treats but because these are essentially like crunchy beef jerky, my dogs are obsessed. I like that I can either give them one square (about 1” x 1”) or break the squares into pieces when we’re doing something distracting that needs a high value treat. I would definitely order these again. Anything my picky poodle likes is a win!

I recently tried the Yellow Stone Crunch Beef for my dogs, and unfortunately, it was a total miss. The product did arrive on time, which I appreciated, but my dogs just weren’t fans. Even after soaking it in beef broth to make it more appealing, there were some hard pieces that they struggled to chew, and the smell seemed to be off-putting for them. Despite my efforts, none of my dogs were interested, so I won’t be purchasing them, perhaps another snack from their line would be better.

I recently tried the Authentic Yellowstone Dutton Ranch Crunchy Beef Dog Treats for my dog. I love that they are made in the USA with high quality ingredients and no additives or preservatives. They are crunchy and easy to break into small pieces. My senior dog is very picky, but seems to love these treats. I would highly recommend. Looking forward to trying the other Yellowstone products.
