Doodle Approved! My pup absolutely loved this food
My 2 year old doodle always gets a can of wet food for dinner and we gave this a try. She absolutely loved it! She gobbled it up quickly and licked the bowl clean
My 2 year old doodle always gets a can of wet food for dinner and we gave this a try. She absolutely loved it! She gobbled it up quickly and licked the bowl clean. I love that it is high protein and grain free and also loved that it did not give her any tummy issues. Some wet foods can be hit or miss when she tries something new but Zeal was fantastic. Will continue to buy for my pup. She (and I) approve!
Quality Canned Food for Smaller Dogs

My dog typically gets a frozen raw food diet with whole foods and supplements and I am pretty particular about what I feed him. However, it’s always great to try out some shelf stable canned and kibble type food as a back up. This was the first time I had tried a Zeal product and as far as I can tell, the quality is decent. The first six ingredients are beef, water, beef lung, beef kidney, beef liver, and green lipped muscle. Lets be honest, canned food is primarily water but the main ingredients in this food are still much better than other wet foods so I know that it has some nutritional value. The smell is nothing surprising and though it does not smell good to me, my dog was super into it. Admittedly, he is not a picky eater but he gobbled this stuff up with enthusiasm and wanted more when he was done. What I did like about this food was that it did not seem to affect his digestion in a negative way or produce poops that were huge, smelly, and soft. If I were to feed this food to my dog for an extended period of time, I would have to mix it with kibble or something because he is nearly 100lbs and it is quite pricey. According to the label my dog would need to eat 10-12 cans a day which would cost about $55-$60 per day which is obviously ridiculous for the average income pet owner. If you have a dog that is 20lbs or less, it would not be hard to have this as their primary diet and the food itself seems gentle on the stomach without any weird ingredients.

I have never given my Greyhound wet food before but she absolutely loves it!! I was a little concerned about her getting diarrhea but I started off with a half a can with her normal dry food and then after a couple days I gave her a whole can. Her poops are great and she is really enjoying her new meal of canned food. I know my dog would definitely recommend Zeal beef recipe canned dog food to another doggie friend.
