I have 4 rescued pitties. 2 are very picky eaters. I wasn’t sure how they’d take to eating a solely “beef” wet food. I can never deviate from their meals. Yes it’s a chore. I started giving all 4 of my babies this as a snack. Wow!! There are NO words to express my dogs’ reaction to eating this new food. My 2 picky eaters gobbled this down and went over to my senior doggies bowl and tried eating hers as well. My poor senior always steps back and lets the other 3 doggies eat what was hers. Something in her past I believe attributes to this. I now feed her separately in another room this product as well as her snacks. This “Zeal Beef Recipe” wet food is made in New Zealand and has 94% meat, organs, salmon oil, New Zealand’s green lipped mussel and egg yolk. It is formulated to meet the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) and is grain free wet dog food. It’s safe for puppies as well as seniors. My biggest gripe is this wonderful food came in a 6oz can. Now think of how many cans of this I need for 4 grown pit bulls. Haha! I’ll need to find a 3rd job to feed this to them regularly. As of now, they’re getting it as a snack only. As with any dog or cat food, wet or dry, it’s best to “introduce” a new food to them gradually to make sure it agrees with them. I’m adamant in this. I mixed this in with their Iams wet food and little by little did I mix it until I saw how it affected all of my kiddos. Then I gave it to them solely once I was positive it wouldn’t upset their digestive system. They still always have their dry food for dinner mixed with Brutus Broth, Hemp Oil (for muscle/bone health), and either their Iams wet food or this food mixed in. They love it!

My two adult Great Danes gobbled up the Zeal lamb recipe can food. The female fawn is the pickiest eater ever and she cleaned her bowl. Can was easy to open and food easy to get out. I gave them a cup of kibble underneath. I split 1can between the two of them. Honestly, I was shocked the fawn liked it because she doesn’t like anything. I do brown ground lamb for them on the stove sometimes, but this was so easy and healthier for them. Thank you. I’m eager to try all the flavors.

When accepting the offer...i thought it was 1 can, not 12. So i was surprised. I actually feed my dogs a plant based diet, but I do mix in canned for some gravy....so I added ZEAL. I have 5 dogs. 4 small and 1 large. All but 1 liked it. It was too rich for her. She's a little Puppy Mill dog and a little sensitive. Because of its richness....i will mix in with the other canned food I give....and spread out over time....but 4 out of 5 liked it. I am worried about the tariffs and the cost of dog food made overseas. Not sure what tariffs there is on New Zealand. Also not sure about regulations of meat processing plants in other countries....which is 1 reason why i went plant based....its cleaner and no animal cruelty.
