Feeding Instructions
For a wet food diet only, the average adult cat may be fed approximately 30g of food per 1kg of body weight per day depending on size and activity. For Kittens, feed double this amount per day. Awlays ensure fresh water is available.

This is a terrific cat food. The ingredients list is just amazing with many kinds of venison parts and other proteins listed as the first several ingredients. My cat is extremely picky but when I opened the can of Zeal cat food she was immediately interested. She cleaned out the bowl which was very unusual for her. This is the first canned cat food that she’s ever showed any interest in eating. The food even smells good to me. The one thing I wish is that it came in a smaller can because she doesn’t like to eat food that’s been refrigerated. The can is large enough that it takes a couple of days for her to eat it all. Also, this doesn’t really matter as far as the quality of the food but I find the design of the can really pretty and very eye pleasing. The colors they use are peaceful and calming. This food is definitely worth giving a try if for your kitty.

Oh my three mid age to elder cats love this ZEAL venison recipe canned food . They are usually ok with most canned food , but this ZEAL brand is a game changer for them. All three indoor cats are crazy about it as is the for Er feral outside cat . She is kind of picky now that her belly is good and full since being a TNR last spring . She gobbles this food right up when I put some outdoors for her . I am pleased with the ingredients in this food. I’ve never seen so many actual “meat” products that this product contains . I also like that it is a soft pâté. My Goldie cat is just turning 14 years old now and was just recently diagnosed with thyroid disease. She very much prefers a soft pâté so this food assures me that she is eating enough. She has some weight that she needs to gain back so I encourage her to eat! I am truly pleased with this Zeal canned food . The fact that it contains 94% of meat , organ meat, salmon oil,green lipped mussels, and egg yolk is definitely impressive !

They only get wet food as a treat on occasion. Two of them ate it, the third, picky cat did not. The two that did eat it only nibbled on it and wasn't really excited as usual about wet food and treats. They did come back and finish it later throughout the day. I do enjoy the ingredients of the wet food, and packaging was great as the size of the can is not too large or small, (for one or more cats). I personally liked the reference for how much I'm supposed to give my cat based on their weight. That chart is awesome!

First off, the cans are HUGE. Even with the feeding guidelines, my cat wasn’t able to eat a whole can in one day. These cans would be better suited for a multi-cat household, or maybe my cat is a lighter eater than I thought. On first try, my cat ate it but I think that’s largely because he doesn’t normally eat wet food except for on his birthday and Christmas. I gave him a half can and he ate most of it. Second feeding, he sniffed it but turned his nose up and didn’t eat it. I tried a third time to give him some more, mixing it with his normal dry food and he refused to eat it. I was so sad, as this looks like a great product with amazing ingredients. I do have a stray cat I’m feeding, and she gobbles it up no problem. Her fur seems to be looking better since feeding her this, and she seems a bit more enthusiastic about eating this versus the dry kibble we’d been feeding her. I feed her about a quarter can a few times a week.

This is an excellent dog food. The ingredients are top-notch, with several types of venison and other high-quality proteins listed right at the top. My dog is usually a very picky eater, but as soon as I opened the can of Zeal dog food, he was instantly curious. He licked the bowl clean—which almost never happens! This is the first canned dog food he’s genuinely enjoyed. Even to me, the food smells surprisingly good. My only small complaint is that I wish it came in a smaller can. Since he doesn’t like food that’s been refrigerated, it takes a couple of days to finish, and he’s not as enthusiastic about leftovers. As a side note, the can design is really attractive—calm, natural colors that look nice on the shelf. That’s not important for the dog, of course, but it’s a nice touch. If you’ve got a picky pup, this food is definitely worth trying!

It pops out of the can with just a few taps and the gravy is visible. So I thought this would be hit. This protein is unusual for our cats so perhaps that is more their hesitation. Overall, it's a high quality cat food - great ingredients and at least on face value the ingredients are ethically sourced.

This is a case of 12-6 Oz canned venison recipe cat food. All life stages, 94% meat organs with salmon oil. I tested this with my outdoor cats and indoor cats and some thought it was delicious and some didn’t. It’s a very healthy food and I like that. I would recommend trying it in small portions mixed in their regular food. Give it a try, the organ meat is a nice addition because cats need that for a healthy diet.
