Love love these Probiotics and so do our 2 dogs!!!
We give these to the dogs and I really believe they help keep them healthy. I will continue to buy them. They seem to like the Bison flavor very much.
Works and works quickly
Our adult rescue had pancake batter poop so I started her on these as soon as she came home. By the second dose, they firmed up a little, and by the third dose, held together and didn't leave any residue in the grass. These will be a staple supplement in her diet for life!
Easy to Use.
My young dog was recently diagnosed with kidney disease. I thought I'd try these chewable probiotics. I just break one apart & put it in with her wet food. She loves it!
Seems to be working
My Pyrenean Mastiff pup was having constant soft stools and intermittent diarrhea for months. She's about 140 lbs. Started with 1 and initially seemed to make her stools worse. Built up to 2 a day (still an underdose - supposed to give 3) and she is doing well now. Not sure if it is this probiotic that is helping or the other changes we have made - switched food to Honest Kitchen Chicken Clusters and she also gets a heaped TBS of Honest Kitchen goats milk powder in her food. All in all, a lot of probiotic. Also less goopy eyes and licking of paws.
Seems to help but took a while
My 18 month old Pyrenean Mastiff pup has had loose stools and intermittent diarrhea for a year. She’s about 140 lbs now. When we first started with a tiny dose, half then one a day, it seemed to be making her stools worse. Now 2 a day (still a small dose), and also Honest Kitchen goats milk and clusters containing probiotics and she seems to be doing quite well - not sure which product or the combination is helping. She doesn’t love the taste but will eat them.
Great Probiotic
I have a 10 week old puppy and he had runny soft stools. I spoke to his vet about putting him on probiotics and he said I could. Seeing that my other dog, when he was a puppy, contracted giardia, my vet also recommended getting him on probiotics. I went to Chewy to see what they had available and found Zesty Paws. So now, with the new puppy, he is also on Zesty Paws. His poops are getting more firm and I just feel better knowing that he's getting good protection in that tummy of his! I recommend these probiotics and brand very highly.
Opened on arrival
I used the pumpkin digestive chews so decided to order the probiotic from the same company. Unfortunately after removing the plastic packaging, when I opened the lid the silver seal was already open. It looks like a treat got stuck between the seal and the container and that is what prevented the seal. I won't be giving these to my dog not knowing how long it was unsealed. I will upgrade my rating once I hear back on a replacement.
High Hopes Dashed
I bought this product with the highest hopes that it would help my dog with her tummy problems. I have no idea why but my dogs are refusing to eat this no matter what I do. Very good ingredient list but unfortunately neither of them will eat it.
2 different breeds
I have a lab and a shih tzu and these work great for my lab but not at all for the shih tzu, she got terrible diarrhea
made my dog sick!
My 8 yr old frenchie never gets sick from food. About 3 hours after being given this she was throwing up. I stopped for a few days and tried it again and same thing! Not sure if we got a tainted product or what. But, what a complete waste of money!
