We live on a lot of acres and have a HUGE tick problem. Some days we will get multiple ticks off after just being outside for a few hours. We give medication for it but sometimes it’s just not enough. This is an extra precaution to decrease the tick amount. A little goes a long way with this. Definitely going to keep this on hand and use frequently.

We have a ton of ticks where we live, and even though we use a monthly protection, we still find ticks on the dogs. This shampoo has been a great addition to aid in preventing ticks. I’ve also noticed since adding into our routine that my one dog’s itching has significantly gone down. If you are sensitive to essential oils, this may bother you when bathing your dogs, but I enjoy the fragrance.

I bought this for my newly adopted dog who had oodles of ticks. This shampoo has a strong essential oil smell, but that didn't bother us. I did notice ticks falling off throughout the day after her bath, which was so gross! We are keeping this in our arsenal, to use as needed. (She started her first monthly prevention after this purchase.)

Bye bye fleas

I could see dead fleas in the bath water immediately after applying this shampoo , I have had dogs all my life and never seen a flea shampoo work so well. I see reviews talk about the strong smell but I find the smell clean and fresh smelling compared to other flea shampoos

Killed the fleas fast

I watched big fat fleas die and get washed down the drain. No scratching afterwards. I will warn you that it is super strong smelling, like lots of essential oils

Good shampoo!

This spring has been pretty rough with ticks compared to prior years. Even though we already use Simparica Trio which helps immensely; this shampoo was the perfect

This spring has been pretty rough with ticks compared to prior years. Even though we already use Simparica Trio which helps immensely; this shampoo was the perfect compliment to it. We went from several ticks a week on our pup to none since adding this shampoo to her bath routine. Also the sensitive skin aspect has been huge. We were dealing with some dry skin issues and this had helped relieve some of that irritation. Overall I would say this product has been effective on all fronts it was designed for. We have had no new ticks since using this and have seen less irritation in our dogs skin. Would also add after having used several different Zesty Paws products that they genuinely seem to be a solid brand. With so many brands and products out there it is nice knowing that this one all around is quite reliable!

I bought this as a last resort for my sensitive-skinned maltipoo, he was constantly itching and I found myself picking ticks for a few days in a row before I realized it was getting out of hand. Chewy fulfills orders quickly and always has a reliable shipping time-frame - Although I bit into my budget, I felt it was worth getting for my dog; it works well and provides relief. However, I think it is best to use on a weekly basis (as it is listed in the Instructions) for the best results.

Zesty Paws Flea & Tick shampoo is a scented shampoo that is easy on those of us that are sensitive to chemical scents. While the essential oils in this shampoo pack a punch I find I'm not irritated as I would be with other scented products (I'm guessing it is due to the shampoo being scented with oils and not chemicals). The dogs don't mind the scent either. I can still smell a bit of the clove/peppermint after a few days. The pups smell quite nice. I haven't seen any ticks this year but it nice to have an added layer of protection against those lil blood suckers and it's the same story with fleas. No scratches or bites so it seems to do its job there as well. Lastly, one of my dogs has sensitive skin and the Zesty Paws worked great. No dried skin and no moisturizer. I received this shampoo at no cost to review and share my opinions. It really is a great shampoo and I'll definitely be getting more when I run low.
