Difficult to get my picky dog to take

I was able to sample Vet Strength Healthy Aging for free in order to provide a review for Chewy and Bzzzz agent. The supplement comes in a bottle of capsules and a separate container with flavored probiotic pill wrap that you form around the capsules prior to giving to your dog. The supplement is for improving levels of Nicotinamide Adenosine Dinucleotide which helps with cell repair, metabolism and muscle and heart function and naturally declines with age in our pets. My dog did like the flavored pill wrap but after 2 days was able to spit the capsule out after eating around it. I have had other dogs that would have just swallowed this whole and wouldn’t have a problem but given I have a picky dog that is hesitant when he is given any treat or food he doesn’t know, this method didn’t work. Due to this, I wouldn’t purchase this supplement again since he now continues to spit out the capsule but if your dog is willing to swallow without carefully chewing the “treat” then your dog will likely like the flavor of the pill wrap and take it without problem.

I wanted to try this product for my dog because I thought this would be a good supplement for her to try as she is aging. I like that this product is vet strength, that it helps with cellular energy & function, brain & heart health, and skeletal muscle support with niagen. My dog takes pills with no problem, but if your dog does not like to swallow pills, then this comes with a pill wrap. So cool. It is bacon flavored and it also is a probiotic for their gut health. Super plus for my small dog with a sensitive stomach. The pill wrap comes in its own jar and is easy to scoop out a wrap around the pill. The substance reminds of a soft, smooth and pliable paste. Everything is packaged nicely. My dog has no problem taking this and actually likes it. I would recommend this product to my family and friends.

It’s possible the dose was too much for her and that she may do better on a smaller amount. Overall, great palatability, but it didn’t agree with her stomach at the recommended dose.

I recently received a set to try for my senior dogs. I have been using for a week for both my 12yr old Catahoula and 9yr old Boxer mix. We own a small 4acre farm and my dogs are very active. With their age, I have noticed they were slowing down, and my boxer has had a few different issues over the years with yeast and allergies. So I've tried a few things over the years. Its only been a week, so far he has been acting happier. Im hopeful this is part of the reason <3 Both dogs love the flavor, and my younger dogs have started working their sad eyes to convince me they wanna try it too lol.

I used this supplement with my 15 year old terrier mix and my 5 year old rat terrier. I did not notice any immediate results, however I hope that over time this

I did not notice any immediate results, however I hope that over time this helps my boys to age easier and live longer. Neither dog would eat the capsules with the pill wrap, and we had to revert back to cream cheese for pills. Over all I would recommend the supplement, not the pill wrap.

I’ve tried a few different supplements for my dog, but the Vet Strength Healthy Aging Niagen pill wraps are honestly easier than most. The bacon flavor makes giving them simple becayse my dog actually thinks it’s a treat. What I’ve noticed since starting is that he seems to have more energy on our evening walks and doesn’t lag behind like he used to. He also seems sharper; little things like responding faster when I call him or being more playful with his toys stand out. For me, the biggest benefit is feeling like I’m supporting his overall health as he gets older, especially his energy and brain function. I’d definitely buy it again, and if you’ve got an aging pup, I’d recommend trying it. It’s been a nice addition to our routine.

I’m not expecting miracles, but I’m hoping it gives them a little extra support for cellular energy, vitality, and overall wellness as they age. If I were recommending it to a friend, I’d say: “It’s a solid supplement useful, easy to administer, and probably one of the better options out there for healthy aging.” If I were you, I’d keep using it but also stay observant: watch their energy, mobility, mood, and appetite over months, stick to good diet and exercise, and do regular vet checkups.

The pills are small but there is NO way he would eat this without the pill wrap. I love that the pill wrap comes in a tub and I can add as much around the pill as I want. Louie loved it and looks forward to having it every night! My doggie is waking up happy and wanting to play instead of being lazy, that is a HUGE difference. I am so excited that we are BOTH on NAD now :) I know that this is so healthy and I love that my dog is getting top tier nutrients that will make him thrive from the inside out! Super impressed that this is made in the USA too.
