My dog has had other versions of this chew before. She loved this one just the same. It’s weird because I would not expect a dog to like mint flavored things (and she’s rejected minty chews before) but she is obsessed with the zesty paws chews and waits expectantly for it after her morning meal. She always has had dry skin issues and I do think these have helped with that a little bit. A supplement isn’t going to do as much for that as their main diet (we are still figuring that out) but it can only help. The zesty paws allergy supplements are VERY beneficial for her, so I do trust the quality of this brand. As far as dental health, her breath has always been great when eating these chews. Dental tartar is minimal, but I also brush her teeth and use water additives, so I don’t know how much of that I can attribute to these chews alone. I would say it’s probably helpful for that, but you can’t expect to rely on dental chews by themselves to clean their teeth.
