Salmon bites are great in moderation
My miniature pinschers love these, and it makes their coats shine! But be warned if you give them too many, their farts will smell fishy! I give mine one every 3-4 days and works great!
No Difference
We tried this product three times and did not notice a difference. Our dog still struggles with dry skin and dandruff.
this works great!
This is really helping! I have two dogs with allergies (a full bred English Shepherd and a Mutt- 18 different breeds) both have long, thick fur with thick undercoats. Their fur has always been dry looking and dry feeling. It lacks luster. They’ve been on these chews for three weeks and it’s a noticeable difference in their fur. Much more shine, less dry. I’m not sure if it’s helping yet with the allergies yet, but it’s definitely improving skin and fur. I’m very happy with this and I’m hopeful that in time, their allergies will improve as well (skin itchiness, both have it) Great product!
Boo Yah
Jake, 16 1/2 year old Dorkie (dachshund/yorkie) likes them crushed and sprinkled on his meal. He can no longer chew crunchy items, so these soft chews are perfect! It’s a great brand
Restored our rescue's coat and skin
We adopted a rescue short hair / smooth coat hound mix who had been badly mistreated and was in poor health. Among many other things, her skin and coat were in bad shape, and she had abrasions and bald spots all over. Feeding her well and treating her other health issues helped her grow some of her coat back, but she was still quite scraggly and her skin always seemed dry and easily irritated. She also visibly shed off a lot of dander. I started giving her these hoping it would help her skin health a little, and WOW. Within about a week her skin was very obviously less flaky and her coat was actually getting shiny. After that she grew back in a lot more hair and I swear it's actually longer now, which is wild. This definitely made her skin better moisturized with much less dander and less shedding, and her coat is now glossy and thick. Her abrasions and irritations healed up nicely, but her bald spots didn't grow back in until we treated her regularly with a prescription antiseptic Duoxo-type topical and shampoo (Veterinary Formula Clinical Care Antiseptic and Antifungal Shampoo) at the advice of the vet. He didn't find any obvious cause for them (i.e. it wasn't mange or ringworm) but they did only improve with this kind of treatment. So I wouldn't rely on this supplement for anything beyond general skin and coat health, but it does do that very very well. By comparison, after we ran out of this one, we started giving her the Zesty Paws Omega Bites to see if there was any difference. I was curious since the ingredients seem almost identical. I do think the Salmon Bites were better because she seems to shed more now that we're a few weeks into the Omega Bites, but I couldn't say for sure. They seem pretty comparable but I think I will continue with the Salmon Bites specifically in the future.
Seems good
My puppy was very itchy and this seemed to help with that. His coat is softer too.
Stinky but effective
I'm not usually one to shy away from the smell of pet food or treats but I really can not stand the smell of these. My dog loves them though and her coat is so soft now. I might try a different flavor next time to see if it's just the bacon that smells odd to me.
We Really Wanted Our Dog to Enjoy
It wasn’t accepted by our male Maltese. He has horrible tear stains and is itchy.

My little pup had issues with chewing on her paws until I started giving her the Salmon Bites. I highly recommend these if your dog has itchy skin.
Great for brittle nails
Our veternarian recommended a biotin supplement for our French Bulldog, whose nails have always been dry and brittle. They crack and peel something terrible, despite trying all of the highest end foods and even a prescription diet. After reading the reviews, I ordered this product, and wowza! Within one month, Walter's nails are solid and rarely crack. He is a picky pup, so he won't eat them as a treat. I have to bury them in his food, but that works fine.
