Only the Best Ingredients

To create these nourishing dishes, Zignature gathered the best possible ingredients from trusted sources around the world. Trout, salmon and whitefish all come from the Pacific waters of the Northwest; turkey is raised in the Midwest; duck comes from farms in Western France; kangaroo is brought over from Australia; and venison and lamb are delivered from New Zealand farmlands. Healthy fruits and veggies are harvested from several North American farms based on the season.

How do you measure 1/5 of a cup????
Answer by ChewyNov 13, 2017
Add 2 extra tablespoon to a 1/4 cup. The extra tablespoons don't need to be exact, as the feeding recommendations are guidelines and can be adjusted according to your pet's weight and activity level.

I would like to switch flavors with my pup every once in a while (from turkey, to kangaroo, to duck etc) do you know if you can just switch flavors or do you have to do the gradual thing?
Answer by ChewyJun 16, 2021
A gradual transition to Zignature for up to 2 weeks is recommended.

The "feeding instructions" section here on chewy.com mirrors what's on the bag except that the bag says "Serving size" instead of "Daily feeding". Is a 100lb dog really going to be ok on only 3 cups per day? Or perhaps the "serving size" on the bag assumes multiple "servings" per day?
Answer by ChewyDec 11, 2017
The Feeding instructions are guidelines to give you an idea of how much to feed your dog but depending how active they are you can give more or less.

Is the meat Antibiotic free?
Answer by ChewyDec 07, 2017
Zignature only uses natural ingredients, so the meat will be antibiotic and hormone free for all formulas.

Great for allergies, but very dry

This was good for our dog with allergies, but he drank excessive amounts of water and then had accidents.

the worst dog gas

I was using another brand but the bags I was being sent were rancid. I tried this one, limited ingredient and seemed to be a good new choice . My dog has horrible allergies… I’m telling you he’s had non stop diarrhea and soft stinky poops and the worst Gas.. like knock you out gas, since starting this food over two weeks. Lawwwwwd have mercy! Yikes. I’m now back on the search for a good limited ingredient dog food.

Grover approved

Smooth transition to new food. Within days Grovers bad breath was tolerable and soon after it was gone.

Good wholesome food

In trying to find the best dry food for my Australian Shepherd, a friend told me about Zignature. This is a very good choice for dry. Simple ingredients made in the US. I always worry about the transition from one food to another and this one was great. Jasper had no diarrhea at all.

Do Your Homework

This food is one that can lead to heart failure in dogs. Note the ingredients are not listed on the site.

My dog actually eats it

My dog is so picky when it comes to dog food. She actually eats this.

picky pup loves it

I love the idea of a probiotic in her food. We have just started the bag, and mix it with a lot of fresh veggies as always, so will know more in a few months.

calorie count change

I’ve been feeding this brand for over 6 years. With the new probiotics comes a new calorie count. I’m needing to feed my dogs an extra cup per pup almost to keep up with the old calorie count. Between that and the new prices (which is $20 more than my local mom and pop shop) I’ll be seeking new dog food. The quality isn’t what it used to be.

Good product

My vet suggested this higher quality food to help my dog who has allergies and scratches alot. It is a higher quality dog food, but with that comes a higher price. So great product, but a little pricey.

Great quality, didn't work for my dog

Love the quality of ingredients and formula list on this food, but my 5-year-old dog didn't seem to have an easy time digesting this food so we didn't stick with it.
