Which formulas have small kibble. My dogs are 7 and 9 pounds, with little mouths.
Answer by RachelFeb 13, 2022
zignature Lamb formula small bites is what I would recommend, It's a smaller kibble for smaller dogs.

Is ANYTHING in your food from China? I seen somewhere that it had new higher levels of Taurine, is this not something that is usually sourced from China and added if meat protein is not high enough to have enough Taurine naturally? Where are your ingredients sourced from.
Answer by ChewyJan 10, 2019
They get their ingredients from quality sources around the world. The Trout, Salmon and Whitefish come from the Pacific Northwest, Turkey from the Midwestern United States, farm-raised Duck from Western France, Lamb from the farmlands of New Zealand, and the Kangaroo comes from Australia. In addition, the fruits and vegetables are from farms across North America, depending on the growing seasons. The Vitamins and Minerals come from both North America and France. Nothing in Zignature's products is sourced from China.

Do I have to transition zignature when I switch different flavors
Answer by ChewyNov 07, 2017
As long as your dog doesn't have any allergies, all of Zignatures diets are rotational.

Is this a good choice for an 8week old siberian husky puppy?

Fixed his IBD

We have tried multiple foods with no success at keeping his stools firm. He was last on royal canin selected protein prescription diet which cost $40 more than Zignature. After switching to Zignature his stools are perfect after 3.5 years of searching. He loves the taste. This is a caloric food so the quantity needed is less , (3.5 cups vs 5) so it actually saves even more! He no longer throws up at night either. Absolutely thrilled with it.

Abby won't eat it

After deciding on this dry dog food which appears to have good quality ingredients I purchased it and when it arrived Abby would not even try it. For several days I kept putting it out for her but she would not eat it and her sister came by and she eats anything but not this . Hum ,so this was a waste of money for me.

The kibble that doesn't make him itch

Our little Maltese is pretty tough, but foods with grains bring out the worst in his itchiness. We love Zignature because if he gets bored with it after a while - we actually have to coax him to eat everything except yogurt - we can switch to another flavor. He's been eating this for three years. Super pleased. I was happy when our local pet store had samples we could try to see which he liked and didn't like. Handy size for camping, too. :) He likes 4 of the variety. That's perfect for us.

So far so good but...

So far it seems like both my dogs like this food but it's a kinda to early to tell if it's helping with the allergy issues. I will leave another review for that part. Only issue I have with this dog food is that there is alot of dog food dust in the bag, to the point where I have to use a strainer. I don't think this is a regular thing so I plan to getting another bag. But no really pleased with my first time experience.

so far so really good

My dog was eating the food from a different company and I have to say that the kibels did not have a good smell and I think that was a reason why my dog’s poop was extremely smelly. My brother recommended Zignature, I decided to give it a try and I’ve noticed that first of all my dog loves it, second the kibels don’t smell bad and finally my dogs poop it doesn’t smell as bad as it used to smell. Im very happy with it and if anything changes I will write another review.

Great for Sensitive Dogs

My dog has a food allergy to egg by products, beef, and chicken. We switched him to this this year and have had no problems and he loves the taste. I also buy a small bag of other flavors that I know he is not allergic to and mix it in to give him a change up.

For a dog pickier than my toddler

My precious mona lisa a gsd now 1.5 years old has been the worst at eating since she was 8 weeks old going from taste of the wild to purina pro plan salmon and some lamb ones she would only eat if it was coated in canned food. This brand is a bit expensive but doing the math with the added cans its about the same and she loves this lamb food she will eat it without any canned food and this is a first for us and her. Her coat still looks beautiful and she's happy , now for my 7 month old Amstaff , wow she hates this food and she will eat anything! And the gas she gets from this food is out of this world . I can also tell she feels the discomfort but I did just place an order for their salmon flavor to see how she does. I actually requested a sample from a Facebook advertisement and this is how we discovered this brand . This will be my gsd brand for as long as we can afford it as for the Amstaff the search will continue . I wish we could sample all the flavors.
