Ideal for tropical and desert habitats, Zilla Night Black Heat Incandescent Reptile Bulb provides focused heat where you need it. Photons emitted by the filament are trapped by its dark tint, with little visible light shining through. The spot bulb provides a focused beam of energy to heat the air inside the enclosure, creating the warmth needed for a healthy reptile environment. This bulb is made from glass containing rare earth-black phosphors to simulate the moon’s natural glow, for nocturnal viewing without disturbing your reptile’s day and night cycles. The heavy-duty filaments yield many hours of peak performance.
|Reptile Type||Lizard, Snake, Aquatic Turtle, Bearded Dragon, Tortoise, Gecko|

Use to provide ambient heat to create a healthy environment for reptiles without emitting visual light which can be disruptive to the creature or room. Produces gentle glow for a little visual light to allow viewing of nocturnal habits and shy species activities. Adjust height for proper temperature. Recommended for use with Zilla reflector domes (not included).
We loved this for night time heat, but it was delivered Feb. 4 and has failed as of March 22nd. I will probably try again though.
Lasted one week. Do not waste time with this. Hey chewy stop selling this garbage product
Worked 2 weeks and done. Don’t waste your money. I bought 2 and used both in a month
The bulb stopped working after 1.5 weeks. Going to try a different brand.
Died in 16 days. Doesn’t put off enough heat. Also was so dim you couldn’t even tell it was on.
It blew as soon as I flipped the switch switch... I have had a very bad experience so far with chewy.
This lamp lasted 4 days ! Chewy should not order this bulb. How many bad reviews before you discontinue this product And customers should be compassated
I bought 2 of these bulbs and within 3 weeks the first one burnt out. I figured that maybe there was something wrong with it and used the other one and that one burnt out after 4 days keep in mind I only use these at night not even 24 hours a day so maybe a collective 32 hours of use from the second bulb
i added this because my granddaughter was having trouble sleeping with the daytime lamp on and it puts out more heat than the daytime light and no she sleeps. love it
The bulb worked great at first and I loved how dark it was. However, it was working great and then flickered and went out within two days. I had to go alternative ways to for heat during the night now that it's becoming colder here.
