Though all ZIWI recipes start with raw ingredients, the finished products themselves are not raw. ZIWI Peak Steam & Dried is gently processed through delicate micro-steaming to create a unique, light, and aerated texture. It is then cut into bite-sized pieces and air-dried to lock in nutrients and remove pathogenic bacteria, resulting in a shelf-stable, nutritious, and safe product.

My cats think it’s real kibble!

We’re so thankful Chewy carries this. My cats eat it like it’s real kibble, but it’s so much healthier. It’s even shaped like the kibble which to them was key.

I had switched them to a raw diet as it’s so much healthier, but they missed their kibble. Our vet recommended Ziwi and were so glad she did! They love this and I can feel good about feeding it to them.

This food is near perfect. Pretty clean ingredients, great size kibble for automatic feeders, resealable bag, and our cat loves it. The price is a little steep which hurts but quality costs more. I'm willing to pay the price for foods for him that don't have a bunch of harmful ingredients in them, including brands that claim "natural" or "vet recommended". Like I said, this one isn't perfect, but it's one of the cleanest I found and had great levels in the nutritional areas. We mix this with two other kibbles to balance the nutrition out.

I found this in our local pet store one day (way more expensive in store btw, about 20 dollars more) and after looking up its grading online I decided to give it a go. Big mistake on my part cause my cat is now obsessed. She will scream and scream and scream for some, right at 5am lol. Amazing stuff, they really care for their customers and if your cat is anything like mine they’ll love it!
