My 150 lbs Pyrenean Mastiff with a very sensitive stomach is going though a eating strike for the past few weeks. She is upset about us getting a new kitten. Bought this hoping to use as a tasty topper or to give up to 50% of her meal. It is more like a lighter weight, crunchy kibble. It is very expensive and not very calorie dense. She reluctantly eats it if I mix it with other stuff. She prefers freeze dried treats/ topper. At least she does not have diarrhea eating this.

My Dog is the pickiest dog in the world . I have tried so many types of food and she refuses them. Her preference has been gently cooked or home cooked but only a few brands she’ll accept. I wanted a dried option for travel, camping etc . We received this bag today and I opened it up, not hopeful at all. She ate it, like not even a question. Ate it all up. Who is this dog, what is in this food?!?!! She ATE !

Pup liked it at First:(

She seemed to like it at first but then changed to eating only a little at evening meal and then would not touch it after several bouts with throwing up.

I planned to use this as a topper on her kibble. I received it on 5/27/25. I put a small handful (1/4 cup) on her kibble. Rose spelled it & walked away! I had to add food on it to try to enter her to eat it. But she left it in the dish & only ate her kibble. I tried using it as a topper for 9 days and Rose left thiin the dish & started

High quality

This kibble is the perfect size to use for training sessions as part of my dogs meals. It also fits perfect in the treat and train machine and never gets jammed

Easy food option if they like it!

Sadly, my dogs did not take to it. Ingredients are good, maybe it's too crunchy for my senior dogs' mouths?

BOTH my dogs ended up at the vet due to tarry black stools. The only common thing was this food, which I had just switched to because it’s not as hard as kibble for my lab who has trouble eating hard kibble now. Hundreds of dollars in vet bills later and switching back to ACANA they are fine, no more black stools. This food should come with a warning, it’s too rich in protein and can cause health problems. The bag I have is going back.
