Feed your pup farm to bowl nutrition with the Ziwi Peak Air-Dried Tripe & Lamb Dog Food. Simple and pure, just like the Ziwi love for dogs, this recipe gives your furry friend the best of New Zealand. This diet includes fresh meat, organs, bones and green mussels for a natural source of chondroitin and glucosamine to support joint health. It also contains high taurine levels to promote heart health. Using a gentle twin-stage air-drying process, they naturally preserve all the ingredients, which also eliminates pathogenic bacteria. There’s no need to rehydrate since the air-dried food contains more moisture than dry kibble—and because there’s also no need for preservatives, sugars and glycerines, the food is safe, clean and easy to handle. In fact, it’s just as nutritious and digestible as a completely raw diet, in the convenient form of air dried.
Key Benefits- 100% single-sourced lamb is free-range and grass-fed on ethical and sustainable New Zealand farms; cold-washed green tripe helps aid in digestion and palatability.
- Gentle twin-stage air-drying process eliminates pathogenic bacteria while naturally preserving and protecting the nutrients in all of the ingredients.
- Includes 96% fresh meat, organs, bones and New Zealand green mussels—a natural source of chondroitin and glucosamine, which supports joint health.
- 95% digestible, this high-protein and high-kilocalorie diet packs more power than raw food or kibble so you can feed smaller quantities per day.
- Contains no peas, legumes, grains, corn, soy, potatoes, wheat, rice, fillers, sugars, glycerins, rendered meals or preservatives.

Tripe Benefit
By Patsy on Jan 7, 2021
Tripe is so healthy for my dog. I use these as training re-enforcement because she will obey ANY command for these "treats!"

Good for picky eaters

My very picky little eater loves this food. I even give it instead of a treat and she’s so happy!

Dog food as treats
By AB77 on Jun 17, 2020
My 4 year old mini schnauzer is not a great eater. Of course she loves treats so Ziwi is the answer. It’s pricy but high quality.. I was introduced to Ziwi by the dog trainer at the puppy class we went. She kept some in a belted pouch and used it for rewards. I only use it for rewards or a few pieces on top of her kibble. The tripe is pretty smelly which is probably why my dog loves it so much.

Ziwi Peak - great food
By Mindy on Apr 28, 2020
Air dried low carb food. Fits “prey” diet. This food is very expensive but so worth the price. Grain free with NO peas, legumes or potatoes ( which have been linked to DCM). Plus high in Taurine which is essential for healthy heart and neurological system. While I can’t really afford to feed it 5 days a week (I have 3 fifty pound dogs) I feed it 3 days a week and also use it as a topper for my dog’s kibble meals. Overall I feel my dogs are getting the best nutrition possible.

Amazing High Value Treats
By PiaOnomato on Feb 22, 2020
This food is apparently so delicious, I've yet to meet a dog that's not crazy about it. I almost always have this in my pocket when I'm out and about with our dogs as it's a very high value treat for them. Multiple people have told me that their dogs are not food motivated only to find they will eagerly take a piece of Ziwi :) Best of all, it's made of pure, healthy ingredients! I'm so happy that Chewy.com carries this as I will never be without some.

Very Picky Eater loves it
By VictoriaSN on Feb 27, 2020
My Welsh is very picky and I have tried everything! She turns her nose up to fresh cooked chicken and burger and salmon! This Food with the tripe she has eaten now for a year! This is the only flavor she will eat. I do alternate with Fresh Pet as the same thing 2 days in a row does not make her happy lol

This Kiwi Recommends Ziwi
By Jude on Jan 21, 2020
This is the only product that I am 100% confident that my dogs will (a) eat, and (b) not have gastro problems afterwards. It is nutrient-dense, does not contain any 'nasties' and is highly palatable (to them). Being a freeze-dried product, the contents of the bags smell as they should, i.e. like beef, lamb or whatever the main ingredient is. The 'pressed' shape of the product makes it handy as a training treat. Although I prefer a more natural diet, this is as close to it that I can find and is ideal for when we travel with the dogs. Sure, it's more expensive but you don't need to feed as much so it's cost-effective, especially with the peace of mind knowing that it's not full of preservatives This is the only product that I am 100% confident that my dogs will (a) eat, and (b) not have gastro problems afterwards. Perfect food
By Greco2019 on Jan 29, 2020
I always have a hard time finding food without rosemary, unless it’s raw. Greco loves raw but gets tired of the consistency after about a week and I end up spoon feeding him.. so I’m glad this food is ready for him to eat and still gets the benefit of a “raw” meal. As a dog mom you always want the best for your baby so knowing exactly what is in the food is a plus. We are very pleased with Ziwi Peak. Yes, the price is high but like everything you get what you pay for :)

Love the variety of protein options
By Casey on Feb 18, 2020
We just love the variety of protein options from Ziwi. We hadn't tried the Air-Dried Tripe & Lamb Dog food prior to this. Because of its higher price point and we choosing to feed our dogs a raw food diet, we use these as treats and that makes it a lot more manageable to purchase. We will be purchasing again.

Hey, he likes it!
By Donna214 on Feb 9, 2020
I bought this dog food for a friend's dog. My friend is a shut-in disabled veteran who can no longer drive. She was using a cheap grocery store dog food and her dog would eat it at times and other times he wouldn't. He had diarrhea off and on, so I tried other brands that I considered better than the brand she was using. He wouldn't touch them. I was trying to find a healthier food for him that didn't include grains, legumes, peas, or potatoes. Ziwi fit the bill! It's a great company, too. I told them about my buying the food for a disabled vet and they sent me a bunch of coupons. Besides the quality ingredients, I love the fact that they offer so many flavors.
