Are the ingredients raw?

The recipe is crafted from 91% raw meat, seafood, organs, and New Zealand green-lipped mussel ingredients; however, the finished products are not raw since they are processed through retort canning. This is the process used to produce safe, pathogen-free, nutritionally sound canned products with a 36-month shelf life.

What is the phosphorus percentage on a dry matter basis?

The phosphorus content of the venison recipe is 0.30% on an as fed basis and 1.30% on a dry matter basis. The phosphorus content of the beef recipe is 0.40% on an as fed basis and 1.60% on a dry matter basis. The phosphorus content of the lamb recipe is 0.40% on an as fed basis and 1.60% on a dry matter basis.

NOTHING BAD TO SAY!! LOVE ZIWI :)

This Ziwi food is EXCELLENT!! My cat especially loved the venison but he ate the lamb and beef as well. It has nothing bad in it and it's of the highest quality!

This Ziwi food is EXCELLENT!! My cat especially loved the venison but he ate the lamb and beef as well. It has nothing bad in it and it's of the highest quality! It even has green lipped mussels which my vet said helps a cat's liver. I got this for my cat who was I'll and even sick with very congested sinuses he ate this Ziwi food. I had great ingredients which I feel helped my cat get well with such good nutrition. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Maybe it’s my cats

My cats didn’t like beef. They ate venison, but upset their stomachs. They were okay with lamb. Maybe the food is too rich for my cats.

Finding the venison can food that Theresa would eat was a challenge, thank goodness our foster kitties will eat anything. (We had switched to venison from prescription

Finding the venison can food that Theresa would eat was a challenge, thank goodness our foster kitties will eat anything. (We had switched to venison from prescription food for her IBD that she would not eat.) And finding a store with can venison for cats with no added chicken or fish was not easy. I didn't want to buy a case because there was a good chance she would not eat it. But at Chewy, we could buy 6 cans, and that was good. And Theresa likes it! It comes from New Zealand so after buying the 6 cans a few times, we decided to stock up. It is so nice to finally find a food she can have that she will eat.
