The hideout is ideal for reptiles, amphibians and other small animals such as hamsters, mice, rats, ferrets, hedgehogs, guinea pigs and more. Remember to measure for the perfect fit. Can you waterlog this and use it in water, safely?

The Habba Hut can become water logged, however, the length of time this will take has not been studied. The habba hut will break down over time and need to be replaced. It is recommended to use the Zoo Med Aquatic hut for better results.

Do Not Get Wet

Put this in my tarantula tank and after a week I had to pull it out because of the weird bread mold substance on it. Threw it straight in the trash but be cautious because it says that you can use it for humidity control!

High quality and looks very nice

This is a high quality product! It's bigger than I expected it to be but I also didn't physically draw out the measurements before I bought it. I recommend washing it off in water before use as it's a bit dusty and has a layer of bark dust on it. So far my snake has not been terribly impressed and is sleeping in her other cave even though the log is under the heat lamp, however every time I take her out of the tank when I return her she initially curls up in the log. I think it's a little too open for her right now but once she gets bigger I think it will be perfect size for her! 2.5 year old female ball python, 3'8" length and 6.75" girth at her middle

Tortois cave

This is a good buy and safe for our pet , I had bought a dome green moss home I needed something more safe the green moss one had the rubber string that would come apart and my tortois leg got caught up in it , plus the wire around bottom would come loose so this wood dome is safe and well worth buying

Tall tortoise

The item is nice and solid. Unfortunately the listed measurement is 5" high. The log is over an inch thick making the inner height only 4". Too short for my tortoise. I plan to saw it in half lengthwise to expand it and then put risers to increase the height.

It’s actually huge!!

I bought the giant one because I assumed it wouldn’t be big enough for my tortoise but I was totally wrong! It’s perfect:)
