Not long lasting

I used gloves to put this light in as to not get oils from my hands on it. Yet three days later it blew out! I’m using the nano light fixture but it seems like

I used gloves to put this light in as to not get oils from my hands on it. Yet three days later it blew out! I’m using the nano light fixture but it seems like at least once a week I have to change the bulb. I’d use something bigger if I could because these bulbs aren’t great

Hermit crabs

Bought this to even out the temp and humidity of my hermit crab tank. All was well and they were happy with the warm temps. Literally doing something sith the top

Bought this to even out the temp and humidity of my hermit crab tank. All was well and they were happy with the warm temps. Literally doing something sith the top of my tank where the light fixture was sitting on top of, the light shut off from the slight shaking. I was confused and checked the inside. My bulb had practically corroded itself, turning black around the glass or porcelain that touched the metal, having weird bubbles and it actually looked like chipped pieces of rock (???) and then the metal part of the lamp got stuck inside!!! I had to use pliers to pull it out. This really sucked cause its not like my lamp burned out, but it did fail after less than 2 weeks. 3/10, varies.
