Dry Brown Dead Moss

I saw this moss for sale in a local store and it was a lush green color. Ordered it online from Chewy instead. The moss arrived in an unsealed box completely open

I saw this moss for sale in a local store and it was a lush green color. Ordered it online from Chewy instead. The moss arrived in an unsealed box completely open to the air and was dry brown and crumbly. I attempted to salvage a few green bits from the core but failed and threw the entire mess away in frustration.

Hermit Heaven

Hermit crabs love this stuff and will spend a lot of time picking through it. It also helps keep up the humidity levels. Soak in dechlorinated water and wring out

Hermit crabs love this stuff and will spend a lot of time picking through it. It also helps keep up the humidity levels. Soak in dechlorinated water and wring out before adding to a plastic shower caddy suctioned to tank wall. Great that it can be refreshed several times by re-soaking. When dry can be sprayed with treated water without mold growth. Note to Chewy-may want to consider putting in a separate plastic bag when shipping. Other items in order will arrive covered in a dusting of silt like dirt. The manufacturers box is not sealed.

Definitely wasn't expecting there to be as much as there was. The box was quite big and packed with preserved moss. Mostly yellow, but there were some fluffy green

I did not read the original size on this box, so to receive so much for the price I paid is good. Ive used in my hermit crab tank to give her a little bit of live

I did not read the original size on this box, so to receive so much for the price I paid is good. Ive used in my hermit crab tank to give her a little bit of live plant and something to supplement her other food, and to help with the humidity of the tank. Its lasting much longer than other stuff I bought before.I put the remainder in my cactus' and orchid to also help boost humidity.
