Some dogs love squeakers, but some like grunt toys instead. We’ve had to order several not because of them being destroyed, but because it’s one dog lives it so much so we have some on reserve. Then she taught dog who ignored squeaker toys the joys of grunting hogs and now we’ve had yo order one for that dog too!
I got one of these from a friend and my dog LOVES it. She has never loved a toy this much- she carries it around like a security blanket. She normally chews up toys, but for some reason this one she hasn’t! I will say if your dog chews up everything, this would be easy to chew up. It’s also not a high pitched annoying squeaker which is a nice change of pace! I’m going to buy a bunch more from chewy to have extras :)
Excellent sounding squeaker, not annoying at all. I love the deeper ones because my pup can just squeak away without my brain popping. He also adored it... until the incident. One day I discovered it wheezing instead of squealing and upon inspection i discovered a fracture in it's skull- the head was split open. My pup is about 3 months old, a labrador, and he is an active chewer but not a tough one- he just likes the feeling and the squeaks, not for destruction. It lasted maybe a week which is unfortunate because we both liked it, and couldn't be fixed since it's plastic... Despite this the joy of the one-two weeks was worth it... i think...
This silly toy gives our Bernedoodle and our family great joy. It makes a true snorting noise instead of a squeak. Cracks me up. It's like having a Disney character as a toy. Dog loves it too!
This little wart hog makes the best, deep squeak/honk. It's easy for my puppy to hold onto and she has a blast playing with it and making it "honk". She likes to shred toys with fur, so this option is perfect.
My German Shepherd Dog loves the different Warthog Toy shape - the little ears and the tusks!
Everyone both pup and human adults loved this unique looking toy with great snorting sound. Different than the normal squeaky toy, our dog appears to crack himself up every time he gets this guy snorting. Has good bounce too and so far sturdy. Very original! Love it!
My cattle dog mix is obsessed with this toy. We had to take it away from him the first day because he was panting so hard after playing that he needed a break. He kept it with him for the first few days - would carry it around the house just to keep it near him, even if he wasn't playing. I've never seen him do that with another toy. It was a few days before he ripped in to it, so the grunting piece is now gone along with half of the warthog's face. He doesn't even care. The novelty has worn off somewhat, but it is one of the first toys he brings to anyone when he wants to play fetch.
My Mabel is obsessed with this! She’s a hard chewer and this has been surviving for almost 2 weeks already! She carries it everywhere. We go for a walk, not with this! She also has the alligator one, but this is her go to. I roll over on it at night because yes it comes to bed with us. Don’t know why but it makes her happy!
This latex to is durable and still holding up in household with 2 Berners and 1 Havanese.
