My blue and gold is a very finicky eater when it comes to bird food. He loves people food, but not bird food so much. Usually, he calls our dogs by names and throws his food at them. He didn't do it with this food (yet!)
Variety is the spice
I love chewies food and zupreem fruity pebbles my bird loves it however I’ve noticed with different birds they will pick out all the colors they like and leave the one color in the bottom of the bowl the last I’d be really nice if the zupreem would allow you to choose what colors you want your birds food to be so they will eat all of it and not throw some out also if chewy would allow us to have the great big bag instead of having a small bag shipped every so often I really love to have a 20 lb bag of zupreem bird food and they said they didn’t have enough calls for it so if people start requesting it maybe they’ll ship the bigger bag like they do the dog food
My B&G is not happy w this feed
My B&G is not happy at all with this feed. He will pick the pumpkin seeds out, the banana & mango out but he throws the pellets. He tried the pellets before he started tossing them and they seem so hard even after he grinds on them forever he still can’t get them crushed up. Not happy at all with this. Also they are using fed ex for delivery and the bags come busted open. I made a complaint with my first bag, chewy had no problem replacing it but my replacement came popped open as well. Chewy always fixes things very quickly and I am completely satisfied w them, just not this pellet seed mix. I do feed the zupreem fruity pellets and my guy loves them.
Another Macaw Favorite
My macaws loved this blend. They actually preferred it over their old seed blend.

I got a sample bag of this at a bird fair a couple weeks ago. I let my Blue and Gold Macaw try it and he loved it. He started taking his old food and throwing it out. Luckily Chewy had it here in two days.
Zupreem Smart Select Macaw Bird Food
My Blue & Gold Macaw and my female Eclectus parrot love this! I give it to them in their treat dish! They eat most of it, but some they don't care for, But I will continue to give it to them, as parrots are picky eaters, they do really like it! I would definitely recommend giving it a try!
Smells and tastes like soap
This food smells and tastes like soap. My bird won’t eat it. I contacted Zupreem and they offered just 2 $10 coupons.
Great for the foraging Cockatoo
Put this inside your foraging toys. My bird friend, Mango, loves it. I also share with the birds outside and they go nuts for it! Especially the woodpeckers!
Seems like a good idea
It's expensive and I can't tell how much of it my macaw actually likes or eats. So it's hard to accurately rate it.
