There are only a few commercial treats my conure will eat, so I'm always happy when I find a new one. These little clusters are chock-full of tasty bits that keep him busy for a while! The size is great for most birds though I have to break them up a bit, as I do most of his treats (he's a strange bird! lol). They crumble fairly easy too however. We tried both this flavor and the berry one - though they eat either, my conure seems to prefer the berry while my Grey seems to prefer the spinach, so I guess we'll be keeping both in the house now!
I was gifted this product by the brand, and here's my honest review. My lovebird is shy and he will not try new treats unless his "cousins" show him the way first, so we brought the both the Spinach & Kale Granola Bites and Blueberry & Kale Granola Bites to my sister-in-law's house and all of her birds love the treat because of the texture and the flavor enhancement of the combination of Spinach and Kale and also Blueberry and Kale. My sister in-law has five different types of birds( pineapple Conure, 2x budgies, Love Bird Fischer Albino, and cockatiel) and they all loved these treats. Highly recommend for your birdies as well. After my baby lovebird saw that the others were enjoying these treats he decided to join in on the fun! Will definitely be getting these again for my bird.
We had the pleasure of trying the spinach and kale granola bites and our birdie babies love them! We have four different babies 2- parakeet 1- cockatoo 1- love bird And all of them had some and finished them I think the shape is also a great factor, our babes had so much fun with them.
Initially, my cockatiel was not very interested in these treats. But I left one in his food bowl, which is how he began picking and eating at them. I think he was intimidated by the texture and size of the treat but realized it became a fun enriching activity to pick at the spinach and kale, which added variety to his diet. Although this product was given to me for free for my honest review, I would purchase this myself as it has provided a flavorful and interactive addition to my cockatiel's diet.
My Bo is a green cheek conure, and he loves receiving these as a treat! The balls are gooey but not messy. They come apart pretty easily. They make for foraging fun and an awesome treat. My birdie gets so excited when he sees this coming! I love how the kale and spinach veggies provide the nutrients he needs to thrive! I was gifted this item for an honest review!
I have lovebird who is super picky over her food. She likes loose seeds...that's about it. I've tried different veggies/fruits & soft bird foods/etc. The only thing she likes is seeds! I figured that since these were basically balls of granola/seed, she would like them. She. Was. Still. Hesitant. She wouldn't eat them as treats out of my hand. Instead, I put a couple in her food dish. When I came back later, she finally had them picked apart. I was surprised to see she did eat them. While her traditional food is still her preference, I was happy to see her finally snack on something a little bit different! Same thing over and over must get boring, no?
I was gifted this product and I was so excited to give them to my birds to try. I have 3 parakeets and I fed them these spinach & kale granola bites and they are obsessed! The product comes in these little clusters which look like granola. The texture of the product makes it super easy to give to the birds and makes little to no mess. The treats are super affordable as well, so I will definitely be restocking as soon as they finish the bag.
My cockatiels absolutely love Kaytee Granola Bites Spinach & Kale Bird treats! They love pulling apart and eating the granola clusters! These snacks are not only delicious but give the birds a good foraging activity. They are healthy, high quality snacks at an affordable price. I received these as a gift in exchange for an honest review but will certainly be purchasing more as my birds love them!
My parakeets loved it, they were curious at first, they didn't know what it was, they tasted it and they fell in love, they especially loved the Blueberry & Kale Granola Bites
Not sure if they are suppose to be stinky right out of the bag, they gave one to my conure and immediately it was thrown on the bottom of the cage!
