Many generations of birds have loved this product!

    By on

I've been owned by birds for over 40 years ranging from budgies to cockatiels and conures. My mother would always get Kaytee oat groats for our budgies, and I've carried on the "tradition". This treat definitely been one of the preferred snacks among all the birds I have ever had. Even my Cockatoo likes these. I tried another brand of oat groats awhile ago because it was more convenient to buy at the time. I basically wasted my money because most of my 6 birds won't eat those oat groats. Kaytee has been making the best oat groats for decades. My birds and I highly recommend them!

    Good treat item

    By on

We have an older bird. We have always kept him healthy and happy using a fortified pellet diet recommended by our avian vet, supplemented with treats including oat groats, fruit and vegetable with limited millet and molting food. He is happy, healthy, active and verbal. We have had several birds and have followed this diet with all. We feel the Kaytee items we use are among the best, and also use Kaytee blends in our outdoor feeders.

    Parakeets love!

    By on

I'd never seen this product before anywhere. I'm always looking out for new treats for the birds, but this one they seemed to go crazy over! Even the honey treats I give them don't seem to bring out such enthusiasm, and I suspect the oat groats are probably really good for them too. This will be a staple in our house now!

    Oats and groats

    By on

I forgot I usually gave this to my other parakeets I had and I was looking for some vitamins for my bird and ran across the oats and groats and my bird loves them and has perked him up some cause it seems like he is sick and doesn't chirp or talk much either. He is only 3 years old and that is not old for a parakeet. I don't know what is wrong with him but at least the oats and groats has perkedhim up some.

    Not just for birds

    By on

I ordered this as a different type of treat for my pet mice. Turns out they really liked it, although they still love their other treats better, but this gives them a variety to choose from, and that makes me happy when they are happy.
